Well I had a fantastic day from pick up to drop off. Pablo was my tour guide,I found him to be very knowledgeable and very friendly and approachable, he even carried my water for me, the hike was done at a pace that was suitable for all of the group. I thoroughly recommend this tour and can’t speak highly enough of the guide Pablo, who went out of his way to make it as good as possible

The tour was amazing! We had chamba as the tour guy and he was great! The experience itself so worth it!! We went to the early bird tour and we basically hike by ourselves to avoid the crowds!

10/10 experience all the way! My friend and I left things to the last minute and somehow we lucked into being connected with Chamba to sort out this tour for the next morning. Chamba was the only one of the 3 companies/people we consulted that let us know that our desired day (Jan. 25th) was actually the first ever Ultramarathon event on the Volcano(s). He was completely transparent that it would be a first and therefore bring some uncertainty to the day in terms of timing and how busy the park/trail would be. He reassured us prior to booking that he would do everything he could to make our experience amazing, and he absolutely delivered!! Communication was outstanding. Picked us up right from our hotel in El Tunco, at the exact time he stated. Smooth trip to the trail. Ensured we were basically the FIRST group to start the hike, which helped us avoid massive crowds and landed us a peaceful experience at the summit. Lunch stop post hike was great and the journey home was a breeze. This tour is more than worth it and Chamba is a legend. Don't be like us though and try to book a bit further in advance than the night before ;)

Chamba was a really friendly and great guide! He shared a lot of interesting facts about El Salvador and we also started the tour early and beat the rush, which is a big plus since it gets very crowded.

Chamba, our guide, picked us up right before dawn so we could be ahead of the traffic and crowds at the volcano - SO worth the early wake up! We had the trail virtually to ourselves all the way to the top and got to experience the crater and scenery for 15+ minutes before heading back down - BEAUTIFUL! There were MANY people on their way up as we descended - we felt very fortunate to have beat the crowds! We also stopped for lunch and coffee at an excellent restaurant with spanning views on the way back to our pickup point. We highly recommend Tunco Life and Chamba for experiencing El Salvadore!

Last Sunday, I had a very nice tour to the Santa Ana volcano. Chamba, our guide, picked us up at our Airbnb (he was very punctual +) and then we headed to Santa Ana. The hike was beautiful - and the view up on the volcano is absolutely incredible. Definitely a must-do when you are in El Salvador. Chamba told us a lot of interesting facts about the area. After the hike, we went to a little restaurant with a beautiful view on the Coatepeque lake. Nice side fact: as they plant coffee in the volcano area you can buy a so-called "crater-coffe" there (I did - this is another recommendation ;) ) . It was my second tour with Tunco Life and I can absolutely recommend them!

The volcano hike was an awesome adventure. In the morning we were picked up (perfectly in time) at our airbnb and the day continued to be a very uncomplicated and pleasant experience. We were the first group who hiked up the volcano and thanks to Chamba, our guide, we didn't have to wait. He also knows a lot of interesting facts about the area and about El Salvador. Up there on the volcano, the view is very impressive - for me it is a must-do when you're visiting El Salvador. After the volcano, we went to a little restaurant with view above the Coatepeque lake which was another add to our lovely Sunday (the photo attached is at that restaurant). As the region is famous for coffee, I bought a so-called "crater-coffee" there in the restaurant. It was my second trip with tuncolife and I can highly recommend them.

We had an incredible hike up the Santa Ana Volcano with our Tunco Life tour guide, Chamba! They were so knowledgeable about the nature and history surrounding the volcano. We also really enjoyed the fact that our group was small making it possible to connect with almost everyone along the way. The logistics were well communicated and the meeting point was easy to find.

I had an amazing experience on this tour. The transportation was comfortable, clean, and always on time, which made everything stress-free and enjoyable. Our tour guide was outstanding—very knowledgeable, friendly, and truly attentive to everyone in the group. One of my friends had a harder time during the hike, and the guide kept checking on her, making sure she was okay and comfortable the whole time. They were patient, encouraging, and never made her feel rushed. That level of care really showed how much they value their guests’ safety and experience. Overall, everything was well organized and enjoyable. This was one of the highlights of my trip, and I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting!
