We had a fun time! The train was on time and the experience was great for our little one and the adults. Santa and Mrs Claus as well as the car workers were personable and friendly.

Very discouraging!!! Not organized as well as boring trip for kids. I selected seats, got a sign seats but when we got there it was first come first serve and we paid for first class!!!! Songs were playing but that was an opportunity for interactive participation have elves lead singalongs. Santa only said below and Mrs. Clause handed a bell to child only - everyone should have gotten one for that price! Although a one hour ride - scenery were old houses and industry -the best part was going over bride and saw water. Won’t go back here again - should have done Polar Express!!

I reached out to Granite State Railway about taking my girl scout troop on the Christmas train. The gentleman I worked with was amazing. He said they weren't used to people having groups for this particular train, but he would make it happen. He not only worked on getting us a group rate (34 people) but he had it announced that our girl scout troop was on board. All of the girls had a chance to speak with Mr and Mrs Clause. After the ride he had a gift for each of the girls. Thank you for making this happen for my troop.

It was worth the hour and a half trip down! We got premier class seats and they were worth every penny, the seats were incredibly comfortable, it was definitely a perk to load and unload first with a 3.5 year old. The staff were all incredibly friendly and the length of the ride was the perfect amount of time for littler ones that may struggle to sit still. We will absolutely be returning for years to come as my husband and I decided to make this a new family tradition.
