Enjoy wonderful snorkeling in Santa Fe Island! During this snorkelling tour you will be able to see many animals such as sea lions, sharks, turtles and more! We will visit the Santa Fe Cliff, the Santa Fe Bay where you will have lunch in the calm waters overlooking the bay whilst watching the sea lions in the distance.

After lunch, there will be one last point in Playa Escondida where you have the option to disembark to spend time on the beach or to continue snorkelling. Part of the tour time is also allocated to fishing, however this depends on weather conditions on the day.

What To Expect

Enjoy a wonderful snorkeling trip in Santa Fe Island! Santa Fe is one of the best areas to snorkel in the Galapagos. During this snorkelling tour you will be able to see and get up close and personal with some amazing wildlife such as sea lions, sharks, turtles and more in beautiful crystal-clear waters! The journey from Santa Cruz to Santa Fe is approximately 1 hour and arrival there gives you some beautiful scenic views of the surrounding landscape and the sea lion covered beach. Upon arrival, you will snorkel at two different points on Santa Fe Island and there will also be a stop at Playa Escondida where you can disembark to enjoy some relaxation on the beautiful white sandy beach; or you can also continue to snorkel here if you prefer.

We decided to book this trip right after we took the one for Pinzon island with this same company. Our experience was excellent and same quality as the Pinzon one. We saw plenty of animals too but more rays than in Pinzon. We went to a beach too which was stunning! Once again the food did not disappoint, very fresh fish, vegetables and plenty of snacks. We leave the Galapagos very content.

I only had a few days to spend in the Galápagos and reserved this tour because it was a reasonably priced option from Santa Cruz, where I stayed my whole trip, and it was so worth the money, especially compared to some of the outrageously priced options out there. We snorkeled with sharks, sea lions, and insane colonies of tropical fish, and during the stop at the beach were able to see sea birds and marine iguanas. The guide was very knowledgeable and supportive for first time snorkelers and weak swimmers, and lunch was delicious. This tour was a highlight of my trip and hands down the best snorkeling I did throughout three days of all-day experiences.

Take this tour just like Pinzon and both were outstanding!! As did Pinzon you came many aquatic animals like sea lions and sharks. The food was excellent as was the crew. Thank you so much for everything!

A really fantastic day trip, all the wildlife was great, beautiful clear waters, great guides and an added bonus was tasty lunch and snacks too! Very well organised tour, so pleased we went.

The tour ended up being between 8-9 hours, so we got lots of time for snorkeling and relaxing at hidden beach. The water was really clear and we got to see tropical parrot fish, lots of seals, and even a couple of sharks. At one point we saw about 40 dolphins playing with the boat. As a bonus, the lunch was delicious and we had a really friendly group on the tour.

From start to finish, this was an incredible day out! Great organisation and clear instructions right from the initial contact prior to booking and this only continued on the day. The guide was fantastic, equipment was new and in good condition and the places they took us to were better than we could have ever imagined. The wildlife we saw was so impressive and gave us exactly what we were looking for during our first trip to Galapagos!

A truly unforgettable trip! One of the very best days you could have. Everything went smoothly and the organisation and the guide were great. They are clearly experts and picked the most perfect locations for us, and the snorkelling was incredible, with such great wildlife. It also felt very private and personalised for our group

I wish there was a way to leave a separate review for the actual snorkeling experience and for Viator booking experience. I booked this tour months in advance and also contacted the provided number to ask about wetsuits and other details. When we showed up in the morning to the starting location, the tour guide did not have our names on the list and had no record of us making this reservation. Moreover, as my Spanish is far from fluent, the guide did not have a good way to communicate with me to figure out any solutions. Fortunately, my husband, who was working in Galapagos that week and is fluent in Spanish, came with us to see us off and was able to argue, make phone calls and have us added to the tour that was literally about to leave. The tour itself, once we were on the boat, was great. We got to snorkel and see a lot of fish and wild life. The only regret is that I did not know the names of birds or fish that we saw (besides the obvious ones) and the tour guide did not give any information on the actual wild life or things that we were seeing (with my limited Spanish I would have been happy to get tour guiding in Spanish).
