Hands down one of the most memorable outdoor experiences I've had. From the very start, our guide was welcoming, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the area, not just the trails, but also the local wildlife, history, and ecology. The hike itself was well-paced. Our guide kept the group motivated and made sure everyone was safe, comfortable, and hydrated. What I appreciated most was the balance between adventure and education. We learned how to identify native plants, and learn about local communities. By the end of the day, we weren’t just tired and happy — we felt like we’d learned something and genuinely connected with the landscape. I would absolutely recommend this experience. It was a guided adventure done right!

Very great hike and highly recommended. Slightly coupé, but not super strenuous. Always windy. Stunning sights.

Gerson was a great guide! It was wonderful to get a tour and learn about all the history, plants and animals, geology, and culture in Santo Antão as we did our walk. Highly recommend.

Leave Ponta do Sol early in the morning with a few liters of water in the bag. In our opinion and opinion, departure from Ponta Do Sol and arrival at Cruzinha! Plan for a return taxi if you sleep in Ponta Do Sol or if you continue your crossing, stay in Cruzinha or Cha de Igreja! Magnificent coastal path with very pretty views of the ocean! We cross Fontainhas first (extraordinary bird's eye view of this colorful village with many terraced crops) You can also stop for drinks in a small Tchu bar! Two other small villages will punctuate the hike before arriving at Cruzinha! The trail is very nice! It goes up and down but it's worth it! We recommend 🥾👍🏻

Beautiful walk. A must. Unsightly colorful village in the middle of the mountains. Fairly steep sections. Alternation between descending and ascending.
