Oia
Oia is the most famous of all the villages of Santorini. It is known throughout the world for its quiet life and fantastic sunsets, and is certainly the most beautiful and picturesque village of Santorini. The village is also situated on top of an impressive cliff and offers a spectacular view over the volcano . Oia is situated on the north of the island, 11 kilometers away from Fira. It is a traditional village with charming houses in narrow streets, blue domed churches, and sun-bathed verandas. Its streets have plenty of tourist shops, taverns, cafes, and other shops. Oia is much more quiet that Fira, with its busiest area being the main pedestrian strip that runs along its length. This is the place where you will have the time to explore with your experienced guide. You will have the time to enjoy a drink from a local coffee shop, as you meet with locals and feel the famous Greek hospitality.

Kostas is the BEST! He showed us places we never would have found on our own and truly brought Santorini to life. My family and I had an incredible experience from start to finish. He knows exactly how to highlight the beauty, history, and hidden gems of the island. Kostas is truly a gift to Santorini, and we feel so lucky to have toured with him. Highly recommend!

This tour was fantastic. Per our request, Lefty our guide took use in to many small villages where we were able to get a taste of Santorini life. In addition, we went through Oia and he was able to bypass crowds to get to the iconic sites. He also shared a lot of local history and we were able to learn a lot about the Island. We were so pleased with the tour that when we were in Mykonos, we gave another couple his contact information.

The tour was great and my tour guide Lefteris took me from hotel to see the whole island . He is knowledgeable and told me lots of stories about the Greece and Santorini. Wine tasting in art space and ice cream with Mr Scoop. See the view on the very top of the island . Santorini is truly a paradise and if you need a private tour , highly recommend this Santo Tour.:-)

Lefteris was our guide for the day and it was excellent! We stayed in Fira and was able to do a phenomenal walking tour of Oia and a winery. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, nice updated vehicle and flexible with our interests. It was quite chilly in May but overall exceptional visit and Highly recommended!

We had the best day out with Kostas. He was fun, knowledgeable and full of information about the island, which he clearly loves. He told us about the history, the culture and what living there is like I had great email correspondence with him before our trip. On the day he listened to us and tweaked the itinerary in response to our conversation. We visited a winery for a guided tour and tasting. We visited Oia and Megalohori, as well as Elias Monastery I can’t recommend enough

We had a wonderful half day tour of Santorini. Our guide Karis was extremely knowledgeable and great to spend time with. We visited the monastery before stopping in a beautiful local village for a cold drink as it was extremely hot. The wine tasting tour was excellent and we ended our trip at Oia.

Kostas the owner made our tour seamless, taking away all of the stress of making arrangements leaving us stress free and to just simply enjoy ourselves. Our pick up time and location was clear and promptly on the morning of our tour, our personal driver Harris was waiting for our private group of 2 in an air condition van. We set off on our private tour, with Harris as our guide, winding though the scenic countryside on our way to Oia. On our way Harris was attentive and informative, giving us wonderful insight into the history, agriculture and way of life on the island. We made our way to Oia where Harris guided us to the most scenic and photographic spots. We then had time to meander the picturesque alleyways and streets of Oia at our leisure, took in the breathtaking vistas and the iconic blue domed church, with time for a delightful breakfast at an idyllic cafe! We met back up with Harris at our designated pickup and carried on to a wonderful vineyard where we admired beautiful and tastefully arranged art in the catacombs of the vineyard, had a wine tasting and learned the art and history of traditional Santorini winemaking from the owner of the vineyard himself! The dessert wine was so tasty I bought some to take home! Next up, on Harris’ stellar advice we stopped at the Megalochori where we had a tasty pistachio gelato, walked the less crowded streets, saw a cave house and found a cute shop to buy homemade cork products. We were off again, this time to the highest point in Santorini, 600ft above sea level to a monastery where we were able to take in spectacular panoramic views of the entire island. We loved our tour so so much, at the end of the day we didn’t want it to end! Kostas then took service to the next level!!! He made dinner arrangements for us at a 5 Star Hotel restaurant-(Volcano View Hotel) where we enjoyed a scrumptious meal with stunning rooftops views of the sunset. We were entertained with traditional music performed by a captivating vocalist, witnessed traditional dance and ended our tour on a highlight dancing and smashing plates! Opa!! A wonderful and enjoyable day, and a very personal experience only made possible by Santotour!! Thank you Kostas and Harris!
