Great experience to see the Savannah port and understand some of the history and logistics of this port. Loved seeing the City from the riverside as well.

My family took the port tour in late December. It was a cold day to be on the water (we brought blankets), but the trip was definitely worth it. Very interesting to see the port up close and learn about how it all works!

Great extended ride down the river in a small boat (seats about 10) into the port area, with lots of detail and history about how the cargo ships and one of the largest ports in the country operate, along with some related activities in the area (e.g. yacht maintenance). You’ll get really close to the ships and the cranes, fascinating! Captain is very knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. If you are staying in the historic district you can easily catch the free Savannah Belles ferry to get across the river to the Westin. Highly recommend and well worth the cost!

Captain Peter was friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. We did have lots of question but he also provided additional background of port process, the history of the area, and added his personal stories. We were prepared for the sunny and windy weather. It was great to see the big ships up close.

Captain Peter was an excellent tour guide. He shared historical information about the Harbor as we were headed to the ports. The crane operations as they unloaded the containers was unusual to see. It was a very pleasant and quick to our tour.
