There are lots of facts about pirates. There is lots of reading so keep that in mind if you have little kids. I think this is most appreciated by adults as the kids seemed bored and kept asking parents what things said. My husband and I enjoyed it.

This museum was worth it. Adults & kids alike, what a cool place to learn about everything pirates. Not just the names we’ve all heard or read about, you learn about pirates from all over the world! It’s a really cool immersive experience. It takes about an hour or so. It’s also located right next to another cool museum and dining experiences next door..

We stumbled upon this, took a chance, and were not disappointed. It's not just for kids! There are some state-of-the-art components, some traditional exhibits, and some unique artifacts. It's a cool ambiance. There's a lot to learn and see as you bob and weave through the creatively organized space. Look for discounts online or with a hotel concierge. There's also a combo ticket available with the Prohibition Museum nearby.

The Pirates and Treasure Museum is a fantastic addition to Savannah’s City Market! My son snd I discovered it today (it has only been open for 4 months), and we had to visit. We found it well planned and organized. Within the museum, you will find a movie theater that shows a short movie that outlines the history of piracy. There are also exhibits with drawings, paintings, wax figures, and artifacts that bring the history of piracy to life. Interactive displays and informative writings provide a deep dive into the fascinating world of pirates, making the experience both educational and engaging. One section includes a parental advisory due to its macabre content, which depicts the harsher realities of piracy such as torture, execution, and the display of corpses used as warnings. This area is clearly marked, allowing visitors to make informed choices. Near the end of the tour, we were delighted to find a pirate-themed bar, where visitors can participate in a fun scavenger hunt to solve a riddle before relaxing with a cocktail or mocktail. This creative touch added an extra layer of entertainment to the visit. Overall, the museum offers a perfect blend of history and fun, making it a must-see attraction in Savannah. We recommend it.

Definitely worth the price! I had a great experience with some friends. Loved the bar area as well. We spent about 1 hour going through the museum as there was a lot to see.
