Messina

Once you disembark from the ship, I will wait for you at the cruise terminal, at the gate 5 exit of the port of Messina where I will be there waiting for you with a sign with your name and surname. From here we will begin our journey to Savoca, which will last approximately 1 hour by car.

Bar Vitelli

We will stop in the art city of Savoca where we can visit the Vitelli bar, where it will be possible to taste a typical Sicilian granita. Another stop on our tour will be the church of "Santa Maria in cielo Assunta" which we also find in some excerpts of the film such as that of the wedding between Michael Corleone and Apollonia.

    Our family had an amazing day in Sicily. Every place we visited on the itinerary was totally worth it, you can stay extra in the places if you want they all have hiden gems. You will see things eat things and smell things that are out of this world. Our guide and driver we professional, perfect with our babies and family and were accommodating to our needy needs! The company communications and ability to have a great tour for your family is very top tier. Can’t say enough about them.

    We had an amazing time, our guides Marisa and Fulvio treated us like family, they were very accommodating to our wishes. After a full day they safely returned to our ship and we look forward to returning to Sicily to spend more time with them… I would recommend this trip and give it a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

    It was a wonderful experience, Marisa and Fulvio treated us like family she was so accommodating to our wishes. After spending the day with them we were sorry to have to board the ship.     We contacted them to arrange a private tour for five people, and from the very beginning they were extremely helpful and responsive. Everything was organized smoothly and professionally. Our driver was truly wonderful — friendly, attentive, and always in a great mood, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a beautiful and memorable tour experience.     We had an amazing tour with Alessandro - were picked up at our ship, then driven to Savoca to see The Godfather sights and have a coffee. Then to Taormina and Castelmola, with stops for photos, shopping and food/coffees as needed. One of our group has limited mobility and was accommodated wonderfully. I highly recommend this private tour for being able to get close to sights and have a personal touch. This tour was absolutely the highlight of our Mediterranean cruise!

    My husband previously wrote a great review but I wanted to add something. We traveled with my dad in an electric wheelchair and Alessandro and Marisa made sure we took accessible routes. We got to see so much and learned a lot of history while having so much fun!

    Marisa and Alessandro were excellent as guide and driver in Sicily, obviously very knowledgeable and informative, and lots of fun as well. They were very well prepared too, as we ran into some unexpected rain and they had 4 umbrellas handy. We highly recommend them to cruise travelers over the excursions the cruise lines provide. Ask them to take you to the Turrisi Bar!
