What To Expect

Day 1

Pokhara 4 WD Jeep drive to Hile And Trek to Ghorepani (2880 meters)

Accommodations

Overnight at Ghorepani in Lodge.

Ghorepani

We will start our trip after pickup you from your hotel in Pokhara in the morning and 4 WD Jeep drive to Hile, from Hile we will trek to Ghorepani. Will enjoy the scenery and amazing view of Mountains on the way up.

Day 2

Ghorepani - Hike up to Poon Hill - trek to Hile - 4 WD Jeep drive back to Pokhara .

Poon Hill

4 am, will start hiking to the top of Poon Hill (3210 meters), our destination, to enjoy the view of Sunrise over Mt Annapurna range. After spending sometime, will hike back to Ghorepani and continue trek back to hile. From Hile, will take 4WD Jeep drive back to Pokhara. Upon arrival in Pokhara, we will transfer you to your hotel. Tour end.

We had few days and chose this short trek that we recommend100%. There are many companies that offer walks. We chose this one and it was a success. We were picked up promptly at the hotel. The first section is done in 4x4 by amazing roads. The driver was very safe and knows every millimeter of the terrain. Then we continued on foot, accompanied by a wonderful guide, Gobinda Subedi. We stayed overnight in a lodge and the next morning, before sunrise we started the last leg of ascent to Poon Hill. We arrived just as it was dawn. The show is indescribable. The light on those 8,000-meter peaks that seem so close shocks you. A unique viewpoint from which you can see spectacular views. Thank you to Gobinda for your explanations, for your good work and for always watching our needs. A great professional and a better person. A great little trek that you certainly cannot miss.

Beautiful path. Amazing view. The driver and the guide picked us up at the hotel. The first part by 4x4, with a safe driver and after a tea we started hiking. Route is beautiful and easy to climb. The second day, you have to wake up at 5:00 a.m. to reach Poon Hill before sunrise. It’s worth, you’ll see sunrise in a unique place in the world. The guide Gobinda Subedi was extreme kind and helpful and we deeply recommmed the experience with him.

Sunrise from 3120 meters altitude Poon Hill after scenic driving of 3:30 hours and tough hiking to Ghorepani. Next early morning reached on the top. Stressed trek but amazing view and awesome experience.
