Cruise in ultimate style while you discover all the unique coves and bays on the way to the famous Knysna Heads. We cruise alongside the beautiful turquoise Featherbed Bay where it’s very protected and one can cool down with a swim in summer. Sit back and relax, enjoy the feeling of the sun on your face, and the wind in your hair, while viewing the beautiful town of Knysna framed by the Outeniqua mountains. Our captain will be sure to tell you about all the secret spots in Knysna to explore. Oysters, drinks and snacks are available on pre-order.

Remember to bring your camera, hat, sunscreen, binoculars and something warm, as it can get cooler on the water than on land, especially during the late afternoons.

Please bring your own beach towel, should you want to swim.

What To Expect

The ideal view to see the iconic Knysna Heads, experience the Knysna lagoon, and see the beaches and bays on the way. Sit back and relax aboard our stylish lagoon cruiser Bella Vita and enjoy the sunshine. Delicious snacks, drinks and oysters are available on pre-order. You will be mesmerised by the exquisite views of the lagoon framed by our beautiful town and the Outeniqua mountains as a backdrop. We often see a playful seal or interesting birdlife along the way, or be adventurous and take a swim in the clear water. You are welcome to bring your own music we have a sound system onboard. We depart daily, every 2 hours from Sirocco restaurant on Thesen Island, bookings are essential.

It was a great experience. Stefan, our Skipper, was very friendly and chatty and happily answered all of our questions and told us a lot of things we didn't know that was really interesting. Would 10/10 do it again!

What an amazing experience My Family & I ,went out on a trip with Bella Vita with a very experienced & pleasent young man called Benjamin He made our trip special from the moment we got on the boat .With this being the first time on a boat ,he really made us feel safe and we enjoyed every minute of the ride . We enjoyed the history around Knysna & the lagoon ,he shared with us as well. No money or words can make up or describe the experience we had -defnitely doing it again Nolene Pretorius
