Established in 1989 and running without interruption as a family business, we are not only counting the yearly hundreds of certified dives, mastered by our siblings and active instructors, but we are also counting the organic knowledge of relaxed and safe dives passed through the generations.

We would also like to mention that we are the only Diving School in the Protaras area located directly on the water! That’s right! Everything we need is right here in on the beautiful Green Bay beach.

We’ll build up the gear and jump right into the diving fun, or onto our boat to explore the more exotic diving spots of the area.

What To Expect

Try an introduction dive, under the supervision of a fully certified scuba instructor, and find out what scuba diving is all about. No previous diving experience or certifications are needed for this dive. The dive begins with a surface briefing that will teach you the fundamentals of Scuba diving. Then we gear up and you take literally 2 steps and you are in the water. The Diving Area is directly next to the Diving Centre (Green Bay Beach). The introduction dive takes approximately 30-45 mins. The introduction package includes equipment fitting, briefing, the actual dive & underwater photos. Book your Introduction Dive with us! You'll never get bored when you try something new!

Me and a friend both dived for the first time ever together with a wonderful group of people here at Aquanaut. A consistently fantastic experience throughout the training (we did Open water diver). Incredibly nice and light atmosphere mixed with seriousness where it was required. Neither I nor my friend ever felt any uncertainty about anything. If a question was asked, it was answered in an really educational manner. The majority of those who work there speak Swedish, so if you have children or young people who want to try it out, that is a clear advantage! Really wonderful experience! We did Open water diver certification and cave dives, worth every penny. This is one of the coolest things I've done! I will undoubtedly travel back just for the diving with Aquanaut.
