During the course, you'll discover what it's like to wear scuba gear, move around effortlessly underwater, and experience the joy of breathing below the surface. To join the SSI Basic Diver Course, you should be at least 10 years old. So, are you ready to take the plunge and experience the underwater world for yourself?

5.00My basic diving experience was a fantastic sensation. It was a bit scary at first, but once you get to dive into the underwater world, all your fears turn into delight. Because of DiveGurus Boracay, all my basic diving needs, particularly my inquiries, well-being, understanding of the fundamentals of diving, and the accommodation were top-notch.

5.00Brian (our instructor) was amazing. He prepares you well, he is calm, and funny. We had a really great. The diving place is also a hotel and a beach front one. So you get a full package. Loved it and would highly recommend.

5.00Amazing experience! Had a beginner dive. Was nervous at first but staff Darwin (my dive master) made me feel relaxed and very safe. Can't recommend SSI enough. Staff recognize your limitations and allow you to dive safely. 5 star!!!

5.00Decided to try scuba for the first time in Boracay and can’t express enough how professional the Dive Gurus experience was. I am a nervous person but Ju Ju and Gen were excellent trainers that gave me the confidence and excitement to dive! I especially liked the thorough training process, first telling, showing, then practice in shallow water so that by the time we got to the real dive we could explore with confidence! We also opted for the GoPro video package so that while we explored the reefs on the dive the instructors captured our memories on video and immediately delivered the footage back to us after we returned. I’m happy to say now I have the confidence and excitement to dive again thanks to Dive Gurus!
