It's a fantastic way to see if you'll fall in love with the magic of the underwater realm. What to expect? During the course, you'll discover what it's like to wear scuba gear, move around effortlessly underwater, and experience the joy of breathing below the surface. To join the SSI Basic Diver Course, you should be at least 10 years old. So, are you ready to take the plunge and experience the underwater world for yourself?

5.00As someone who isn’t naturally confident in the water, I was a little nervous about trying scuba diving for the first time, but it turned out to be an incredible experience. The session started with a clear demonstration and training in 1.5 metres of water, where I learned about the equipment and important sea safety skills. Everything was explained in a calm, easy-to-understand way, which really helped build my confidence. We then progressed to a dive of up to 5 metres, and I felt completely supported throughout. Dominic was patient, kind, and very attentive to any difficulties I might have been experiencing. He stayed by my side the entire session, which made all the difference. Not once did I feel like I wanted to leave out of fear, knowing he was right there with me. It was great fun, and I’m already looking forward to doing it again!

Because of DiveGurus Boracay, all my basic diving needs, particularly my inquiries, well-being, understanding of the fundamentals of diving, and the accommodation were top-notch.

5.00Brian (our instructor) was amazing. He prepares you well, he is calm, and funny. We had a really great. The diving place is also a hotel and a beach front one. So you get a full package. Loved it and would highly recommend.

5.00Amazing experience! Had a beginner dive. Was nervous at first but staff Darwin (my dive master) made me feel relaxed and very safe. Can't recommend SSI enough. Staff recognize your limitations and allow you to dive safely. 5 star!!!
