Do not miss “any “ of the tours offered We have had the pleasure of attending 5 of them and “everyone” was outstanding !! We will be doing a repeat of at least one this year( 2026) when we return to Mazatlan

This tour was the highlight of my trip! It was an excellent experience all around- from the tasting to the locations. It was great to support all the local businesses and hear the stories behind the food. It was so fantastic that I booked a second tour during my trip and invited more friends to join (the evening tour). Can't recommend enough!!

If ever in doubt, just do it. The tour was perfect. We have been to Mazatlan several times. We have not done a food tour before but we will definately do more. Not only tasting local foods but hearing the history was great. The owner Maaika did our tour and for not being a native was so knowledgeable

It’s was a wonderful tour taking us to many non-touristy local eateries while providing us info about history & culture of Mazatlan. Maaike was the perfect guide; very knowledgeable about the area. The small group made the day more personable and we highly recommend this tour.

An amazing tour! Eduardo was great. Knowledgeable about the industry yet a good sense of humor. Went to places out of my comfort zone but good to try. Really enjoyed the whole experience.

The Seafood Secret Tour is the perfect combination of food, information about Mazatlan, walking, and riding. Eduardo is amazing; knowledgeable about Mazatlan and the seafood industry and people who provided the food. He made the tour one of the best we’ve taken.

Our tour guide, Eduardo led us on a spectacular itinerary beginning with a breakfast shrimp or mahi mahi tacos, to the harbor where we saw crews unloading their catch. Eduardo was very informative about the industry and processing. We then visited a historic venue and enjoyed shrimp empanadas. We later visited Emilio’s for a delicious shrimp tostada, then onto another street vendor for tuna pate/wonder bread staple that we found delicious! Next stop, closer to the Machado, Liguillas! We had a crab tostada there, yum!! We ended with a stop at the oldest Panama Bakery in Mazatlan and enjoyed guava pie. The stops were great, we never would have found them on our own. We’ve already gone back to a couple of the stops. Eduardo spoke clear English and gave us a ton of historic information!!! What a pleasure!!

What a great day with Eduardo! It was easy to find the meeting place (15 min walk from the cruise terminal). We started with a yummy taco and then headed to the harbor where Eduardo (in excellent English) explained the process of the shrimpers and processors. At each food stop, he told us about the people who owned the restaurant and everything was so delicious! Highly recommend!
