• Never got picked up so no tour! They argued and would not refund us.

  We were given instructions to be ready in the We are at 9:20. We were there and nobody came. We called after waiting 20 minutes to ask what the delay was and were given the vague instructions to now go out to beach to meet them. We went out to the beach and waited an additional 30 minutes. We called again and they said we did not show up. At this point we wanted a refund but they argued that it was our fault that we did not show up. They said they would turn the boat around for us and come back to get us. At this point we had already wasted much of our morning and were not willing to wait an undetermined amount of time for a boat to come back and get us after already missing what would minimally equate to a third of the tour. We have thorough documentation of messaging between us and this tour company if anyone would like to see it. The review would also be a much different tone if they just simply acknowledged the mistake and did the right thing. The fact they dug in to blame us and not support a reasonable request for a refund was unacceptable, thus the scathing review as promised.

  Amazing Experience! We had such a great time on this boat tour! Captain Manny and Rushene were awesome—they were super helpful and made sure our whole family had the best experience, including our kids. They were so good at pointing out all the cool things along the way, teaching us about what we were seeing, and even making sure we got some great photos! Rushene took my favorite photo of our family from our whole vacation! This was definitely one of the highlights of our vacation—highly recommend it for families! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  We met and loaded at Beaches. The guides were fun and very helpful. The conch shells and snorkeling were awesome. Manny and rushene were fun, prompt and great with kids. I was hoping for more seashell hunting for the kids, but would recommend and do again

  This was an amazing excursion. Our guides manny and rushane were fun entertaining and knowledgeable. We took a 30 min boat ride from beaches to north side of the island. Guides handed out gear and our family was able to dive and catch a conch shell. Note the dive is pretty deep so small children likely won’t be able to reach the bottom. From there we went to a small island where the guides prepared fresh ceviche for us. The water was stunning! Highlight was a family of dolphins came right up to us and played for a while. Whole trip was around 3 hours. Highly recommend!

  Manny and Rushane were amazing. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. Our older son has autism and they went out of their way to engage with him. The ceviche was delicious. My husband said it was the best thing he ate the entire vacation so far. Out of all the excursions we’ve done over the years this one was the best one yet.

  The trip was ok. The staff were not overly helpful with getting gear on. The water was pretty choppy so I asked for life jackets for myself and my 8 year old daughter. We were given yellow float belts for our waist which didn’t really help bc they kept sliding up and behind us. Did not really feel safe with her in the water and neither did she so we didn’t stay in long. My 11 year old started without one and then went back on to get a vest bc she felt uncomfortable. The water was that choppy. They gave her one of those self inflating vests with barely any air and all moldy. There was no one to assist kids getting on and off the boat ladder when my daughter went back up and down. We were basically on our own. Apparently our group didn’t get enough conch shells for the ceviche so we spent about 30 minutes sitting in the water waiting for one of the crew to snorkel and find one which he never did. That was awful for my daughter and another woman who were seasick. By the time we got to the island we had about 15 minutes which was disappointing. The only positive thing was the staffer who was looking for shells gave my sick daughter a sea biscuit as a souvenir. The ceviche was good but we had 5 minutes to eat it. My daughter wasn’t done but didn’t want it flying everywhere when the boat started moving so she threw it out. The whole trip felt very rushed, most of the time was just the boat ride. Overall I dont feel this tour is worth the $.

  Our family of five went on this trip while staying at Beaches earlier this month. It was absolutely amazing and the perfect way to spend our last day on the island. Our tour guides were awesome and the snorkeling for conch was the best. We loved the fresh ceviche prepared from our catch and the boat ride was like a party on water. I definitely recommend this excursion! We even got to clean our shells and they made it through customs back to the US with us!

  LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! This excursion was so much fun! The captain was fun and had upbeat music playing. The assistant kept drinks flowing. Diving for conch was simply an amazing experience. It truly is a scavenger hunt as they blend in with the grass and corals. The captain prepared an amazing conch ceviche with our finds! I recommend this 10/10!

  Thank you Captain Rice, Crispie and Matt, Our family had just a great time earlier in the week that we booked a private tour later in the week with Captain Rice! Super fun, safe and adventurous. The conch ceviche was delicious too! We can't wait to come back next year. PARENTS: Make sure you and your kids wear LOTS of sunscreen on your back and legs!! Apply often!

  I recommend to anyone wanting to book a day cruise adventure in the Turks and Caicos that they give Island Routes a serious look. I particularly want to commend Kathi-Ann Pitter. She was warm, friendly and patient for all of my many questions. If you're lucky enough to get her on the line - tell her that this reviewer recommended that she play Bob Marley for you if she has to put you on hold. She will remember and laugh.
