What an incredible experience! Sea Trek in St. Maarten was one of the highlights of our vacation. Walking on the ocean floor and getting up close to the colorful marine life was absolutely unforgettable. The staff was professional, friendly, and made us feel safe and comfortable every step of the way. The underwater views were amazing, and the entire experience was well organized from start to finish. Whether you’re an experienced swimmer or a complete beginner, this is a unique adventure that everyone should try. We left with wonderful memories and fantastic photos. Highly recommend Sea Trek to anyone visiting St. Maarten!

Cool experience, we thoroughly enjoyed it. The crew was super tentative with both of us and we saw plenty of fish during the excursion and snorkeling at the site afterwards.

It is quite a unique experience to be able to walk underwater and look at the artifacts and fishes. The staff put your safety above all else and watch closely over you. But you should not underestimate the level of physicality required for this excursion. I would not recommend this for young children as the mask is made to be heavy. Even in the water, it would feel easily 15-20lbs. they have many safety divers watching over us and let us use their snorkeling equipment while waiting for our turn. If you have no physical limitation, comfortable being under 20ft of water and 3 hours to spare, then you should do this excursion. The $25 per person photography package is a little expensive but the photo quality is very good. We took it since this may be the only underwater trek we would ever do. They asked people to show up 30min before the check-in time. You can use that time to check out the Bobby’s marina.

This was an amazing experience! Well organized and the staff explained everything clearly. Safety is a priority for the team and everyone is very professional and friendly. This was a great activity for us to do while on a cruise. It does take a few hours so do not over plan if you are in town for the day.

This was a wonderful experience. If you have any concerns about being a novice -- DON'T let those concerns keep you from enjoying this great underwater experience. The staff will keep you safe (and quite amused) every step of the way. Our group of 23 came off a cruise ship calling at St. Maarten. After a comfortable boat ride from our ship's pier to their moored platform, during which we were briefed on what to expect, we were divided into 2 groups for the dive. The group not diving were given to opportunity to snorkel in the area. The instructors and safety divers were professional and kind, with a knack for saying the right thing when they sensed someone suffering any anxiety. [My career spanned 45 years of deep ocean operations, eventually reaching leadership roles, responsible for completing any assigned task while keeping the crew safe. From that vantage point, I am happy to report that their gear is 1st class as are all of their operational protocols,] It is a well run adventure and a heck of a lot of fun -- even for an old salt!
