The tour had an amazing flow of information: a rich dive into coffee lore and my own pallet. Sam, our tour guide was so personable and packed full of fun knowledge about Seattle and its relation to coffee. I knew coffee was big here, but didn’t realize the rich history. The locations we went to were awesome. I can’t wait to go back to some of the spots, and recommend the tour to any friends or family who are visiting. Skip the Underground tour and do this instead!

This was such a wonderful way to get to know a new neighborhood, try coffee preparations I might not have otherwise, and learn about the history of coffee culture, both globally and locally. Sam was personable, flexible and enthusiastic, on top of having an encyclopedic knowledge on the topic. I would recommend this tour to anyone with a couple of hours to spare, regardless of coffee-drinking background.

The coffee tour was such an incredible experience - I live in Seattle and have spent a lot of time in Capitol Hill, and I was amazed by how much I learned. Sam is so knowledgeable and keeps things moving smoothly. He clearly has strong relationships with the local coffee shops and everywhere was so welcoming. The coffee was delicious, the conversation engaging. A perfect way to spend a couple hours learning about the city and the coffee scene, whether you live here or are visiting.

Easy breezy, fun and a was a nice way to try some new spots in my neighborhood. The Thai coffee place is the last spot and was the best coffee I have had in Seattle. So yummy and the people that worked there were so sweet. Sam is a great tour guide who can talk about coffee, music, city hot spots, city gossip with the passion of a local who loves his city. Fun time!

This was a really awesome tour. I’ve been a lifelong coffee drinker (I would say aficionado) and learned so much new information. One really nice aspect of the tour is that Seattle really is the perfect place for this tour - and Sam wove in the fabric of the City so well with the history and culture of coffee globally. Sam’s a great tour guide and has a great energy about him. Make sure to pester him with questions like we did. Very fun tour. For those of you who judge based on coffee orders, mine is a cortado!

I had an amazing time on this coffee tour! Our guide, Sam, was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so many interesting details about the coffee-making process, from sourcing and roasting to brewing techniques. What really made the experience stand out was how charismatic and engaging Sam was — you can tell he genuinely loves sharing the coffee experience, and that energy made the whole tour fun and memorable. It felt personal, relaxed, and informative without ever being overwhelming. As a non-coffee drinker, I left with a much greater appreciation for coffee and would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to engage more with the coffee experience!

This tour is SUCH a gem! Can’t recommend it enough. Sam’s enthusiasm is infectious and the historical background he provides is both thorough and fascinating. As someone who’s just beginning their love affair with coffee, this was the perfect way to discover some of Seattle’s hidden gems. Whether you love coffee or don’t, are new to the city or a local, this tour has something for everyone! You’ll leave caffeinated, delighted, and with a better understanding of the city itself.

Man I love coffee and I grew up on coffee, being from Seattle and my family were all into coffee so I thought I knew coffee but I did not. I learned so much on this tour from bean profiles, to history, and probably what I’ll be drinking next. Also the walk around Capitol Hill was the perfect length. Would recommend 10/10
