Discover Sicily in its unique flavors, from Pachino cherry tomatoes to the pistachio of Bronte, a town located at the base of Etna volcano. I will delight you with the taste of aubergines while you prepare a plate of pasta “alla norma”, and discover the flavors of our sea through fresh fish from the local market, and flavored with spices such as capers from the Aeolian Islands and olives born from the fertile volcanic land.

Meet the Chef and visit a small local producer, where you can taste fresh and genuine fruit and vegetable products, discovering the authentic flavors of Sicily. Next transfer included in the price to the restaurant "Ahoy Bistrò Siciliano" in Giardini Naxos, located 15 minutes from the meeting point, with breathtaking views of the sea and the Bay of Naxos. During the day, you can taste local wines with focaccia, cold cuts and Sicilian cheeses. You can prepare with your own hands 3 traditional Sicilian dishes: - An appetizer; - A dish based on fresh fish; - Six different types of fresh pasta, including the famous "pasta alla norma" with aubergines and cherry tomatoes from Pachino. Loved the hands on experience of making multiple kinds of pasta. So much fun and we can’t wait to do this as a holiday activity. It went over time by almost an hour and a 5 hr day was quite a lot, but well worth it. Chef Mimmo and his mom and helpers were all very authentic and passionate about what they do. Much more interesting than a making pizza class.

Really an extraordinary experience. Starts with an introduction and explanations about fruits and vegetables at the market, then transport in luxurious vans to the chef's restaurant on the water, and there a real Italian cooking course with Mimmo, and chef Mamma (his mom). We learned how to make six kinds of pasta, vegetables (kind of ratatouille), tomato sauce, pesto, and fish!!! Which we ate afterwards. It was really an excellent activity that lasted over 4 hours. Well done, Chief Mimmo, and his whole squad.
