We will make your holiday in Sicily unforgettable thanks to the flavors and aromas of our splendid land. You will taste a thousand of ingredients wisely mixed together so as to never create monotony and you will discover new flavors through rich dishes with a scent of sea, almond, ricotta or even oil, earth, life, of something good.
Discover Sicily in its unique flavors, from Pachino cherry tomatoes to the pistachio of Bronte, a town located at the base of Etna volcano. I will delight you with the taste of aubergines while you prepare a plate of pasta “alla norma”, and discover the flavors of our sea through fresh fish from the local market, and flavored with spices such as capers from the Aeolian Islands and olives born from the fertile volcanic land.

What To Expect
Join Chef Mimmo Siciliano for a unique culinary experience in Taormina! Meet the Chef and visit a small local producer, where you can taste fresh and genuine fruit and vegetable products, discovering the authentic flavors of Sicily. Next transfer included in the price to the restaurant "Ahoy Bistrò Siciliano" in Giardini Naxos, located 15 minutes from the meeting point, with breathtaking views of the sea and the Bay of Naxos. During the day, you can taste local wines with focaccia, cold cuts and Sicilian cheeses. You can prepare with your own hands 3 traditional Sicilian dishes: - An appetizer; - A dish based on fresh fish; - Six different types of fresh pasta, including the famous "pasta alla norma" with aubergines and cherry tomatoes from Pachino. Discover Sicily in its unique flavors, among the scents of aubergines and the flavor of fresh fish, from capers of the Aeolian Islands and olives of the fertile volcanic land. After preparing the dishes, sit down at the table and enjoy your typical Sicilian lunch a few steps from the beach and the sea. For dessert, enjoy small Sicilian cannoli with a glass of Limoncello. Finally you will be escorted back to the meeting point.

5.00My wife and I did this cooking class on our honeymoon. It was such a great experience and we cooked the best food. We highly recommend this class to everyone. From his dad driving, his family members teaching you how to cook it was a true Italian family experience.

Mimmo and Mamma were wonderful instructors on how to make an authentic Sicilian dish. Our adult family members were overjoyed at the taste and intimacy of the class. 5.00My husband and I took this cooking class with our son and his wife. It was a fabulous experience. The meeting place was easy to find. We were picked up promptly and went to a market where we learned about the different vegetables used to make Italian cuisine. After the market we went to the beautiful restaurant where we met Chef Mimmo and his family. We learned how to make different pastas and a fish dish. It was a hands on experience and it was so much fun. Everyone was so nice and helpful. After we made our delicious meal we ate outside next to the sea. There was plenty of wine to go with our meal. From start to finish it was an amazing experience.

4.00For us, too many cooks spoilt the broth… 16 is just too many for all to get a personal experience… we’d say 10 max. But, we enjoyed and would like to have had more to do, but with 16 people it was just too hard. We had. Table at the very back of the restaurant, for the whole experience we were at the back - maybe vary the seating, so all get a sea view experience?

5.00Loved the hands on experience of making multiple kinds of pasta. So much fun and we can’t wait to do this as a holiday activity. It went over time by almost an hour and a 5 hr day was quite a lot, but well worth it. Chef Mimmo and his mom and helpers were all very authentic and passionate about what they do. Much more interesting than a making pizza class.
We really got value for money. Very well organized, clear instructions, a lot of cooking and fun!
