This was an amazing experience especially as it could be difficult to translate the menu. Patrick was super welcoming and friendly, I felt very comfortable with him during this tour. He was super knowledgeable and I tried some yummy local foods that I would not have known about otherwise. Thank you for a great tour!

This was a very fun walking tour with delicious food that focused on small local places for noodles, soup, fruit, tea and beer. Our guide Jade was excellent with great English and great stories about the city. And she made sure there was plenty of food for one vegan in our group and another who loved spicy meat!

One of the highlights of my trip to Shanghai. I'd definitely recommend doing this tour early in your trip, as it's a great way to learn your way around downtown. Jim was fantastic. He taught me a lot about Chinese history and culture, was very fun and friendly, and knew took me to eat a lot of really delicious food. I'm recommending his tour to all my friends that are planning a visit.

The food was fantastic, our guide was knowledgable and fun, the pace was perfect and the walk through the backstreets gave us a chance to see a unique side of Shanghai. We highly recommend this tour! We might even do it again in the near future.
