The tour gave some interesting insights into the history of Louisville. The food and drink we sampled was all good, but did not find anything particularly unique about any of it. Also, the tour description indicated 6 tastings, which we did not have. We actually only had 4 stops, but we did have a taste of 2 places at our last stop. (Muths candy is apparently not open on Sunday so the tour guide had gotten the candy samples ahead of time - which was nice!). The description also says 2 craft beer tastings and we only had 1. The length of the tour was good and there was an ample amount of food. The fee was a little high compared to similar tours in other cities. The group was fun and the size of the group (12) was great. I find that any tour is primarily made by the guide. Cathy was a lovely, friendly person and very knowledgeable. We did feel like she was trying a little too hard some of the time and the tour seemed a bit unorganized.

Our Friday afternoon Louisville Food & History Tour in NuLu was an absolute delight, thanks to our incredible guide, Katie. She expertly led a group of nine strangers and made us all feel like old friends, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere from start to finish. Katie’s deep knowledge of the area and her infectious enthusiasm brought the history of NuLu and its culinary evolution to life. The tour was a perfect blend of fascinating stories and mouthwatering dishes—from local beer cheese to savory biscuits and gravy. Katie’s ability to connect with everyone truly made the experience feel homey and memorable. If you’re looking for a fun, flavorful, and heartfelt adventure in Louisville, you won’t want to miss this tour!

It was a fun way to see NuLu and learn about the interesting history of Louisville. The food stops were delicious. We enjoyed the truthfulness of the history presented by Kathy. No whitewashing here! America's history is a history of humans, their good and not so good attributes. Enjoyed it a lot!

This is a fantastic tour with 6 food stops that features some of the unique NuLu cuisine and also includes a tasting for 2 craft beers. Our tour guide Katie was very knowledgeable regarding the food, beer, neighborhood history, and shopping opportunities in this unique Louisville neighborhood. The tour company provides audio devices to assist in hearing, and these are great, especially when walking in the neighborhood so that you don’t miss out on any of the interesting narration due to traffic noise, etc. All restaurants are locally owned businesses, as is the tour company. We can’t wait to book another tour!

Christina was fabulous! So much amazing food and lots of interesting facts of the area. She was able to include, at the last minute, my husband's favorite dessert.

We did the Nulu Tour. Cathy was a great guide. Full of information. We learned a lot of history and tid bits. Great food that we probably wouldn't have found on our own. Highly recommend!
