Absolutely loved this full day tour with Hamala! There's very few things in Tonga you can do on Sunday, and I'm so grateful I found Hamala online. I was a solo traveler, and Hamala took great care of me. We started with a beautiful church service, and then went around the entire island, enjoying its best spots (even all the hard to get to ones)! I learned so much about Tonga's history, culture, politics, and recovery from natural disasters. Don't hesitate to book this tour - aside from the whale swims, this was my favorite tour in Tonga!

I did the full day tour with Hamala. He was a lovely guide and very passionate about his country. He was very educational and I learnt so much about Tonga that I would probably not know otherwise. I saw all the major touristy spots and they were explained to me which made it more meaningful. He even took me to Anahulu cave when I asked which wasn’t on the tour list. My favourite spot was the blow holes where we spotted whales from the shore. At another site we also spotted turtles from the shore! It was an amazing day and I would 100% recommend it!!! Thank you Hamada for the wonderful day! 😊

Highly recommend. I came to Tongatapu for whale watching and never expected to see so many wonderful things on land. Hamala is very knowledgable about the country and its history. He loves this island deeply and we all learned a lot about this place - an unforgettable experience to have.

I am truly grateful I took the tour with Hamala. Our day began with a rare and memorable experience—seeing the Tongan royal family as they left their residence—followed by attending a church service. The service opened with about 15 minutes of continuous standing and singing. Midway through, I began to feel lightheaded, and shortly after sitting down, I apparently lost consciousness. When I came to, several women were attentively asking me questions. With my healthcare background, I was impressed by the quality and relevance of their questions—they mirrored exactly what I would ask my own patients in that situation. Although I was already feeling better, Hamala insisted on taking me to the emergency room to ensure I was completely fine. At the hospital, the staff saw me immediately, conducted their assessments, and fortunately, all results were normal. I am deeply thankful to the women at the church, the ER staff, my travel companions, and especially to Hamala for his care, attentiveness, and insistence on prioritizing my health.

Just finished a day tour with Hamala and it was fantastic! It did, however, start out with a problem. First, we went to a Sunday church service, which was the most amazing service I've ever attended. But halfway through one of my friends lost consciousness, collapsed in her seat and we had to carry her outside. It was especially frightening because we've traveled together for 6 years and she's never had any problem like this. We had no idea what was wrong with her. Hamala and members of the congregation immediately came to her aid and took her to the hospital. She recovered at the hospital and we were able to continue with our tour while she rested in the car. My friend is a nurse and after getting all her vitals checked she too was confident she was ok. Apparently she was severely dehydrated. I can't thank Hamala and the Tongan people enough for being so caring, helpful and professional in helping my friend in her time of need. The sights on the tour were beautiful, but even more beautiful was seeing how the friendly Tongan congregation rushed to help my friend. Thank you Hamala and thank you Tonga for all the help you generously provided. Forever grateful.

The full island tour was a great way to see Tonga and hear about it's history, it's culture & it's beautiful people. Hamala is very knowledgeable & able to answer lots of questions both in and out of the vehicle, stopping upon request & taking us to some absolutely scenic places was a joy. It was fascinating to see the impact of the 2022 Tsunami on the environment & people. Hamala certainly went out of his way to make us feel comfortable, finding us a specific eatery for our lunch. I'd highly recommend booking this full day tour, especially if, like us, you're only in Tonga for a short stay.

My tour Hamala was certainly the highlight of my trip away. He was very knowledgeable and able to accommodate any requests I might have had. It was so nice to know I was in safe hands the entire time. He even took the time to take me to places which other tour guides often omit because they're too difficult or inconvenient to get to. If you're considering a tour in Tonga, you should definitely choose Hamala!

My guide was amazingly awesome. He took me throughout all four corners in the island stopping at everything interesting and talking to me about it. My guide, also the owner, ha lived in the States a few years and spoke great English. He was so helpful that I hired him the following day to take me on his snorkeling trip and to swim in the fresh water caves on the eastern part of the island.

We had a fabulous time with Hamala. He had fantastic knowledge of the island and went out of his way to tailor a tour specific to us. We saw the entire island in a day. Lunch included and Hamala even brought road trip snacks with pick up and drop off included. He recommended other activities to do in Tongatapu and was very flexible with our ever changing travel schedule. Lovely guy would highly recommend.
