With a donut-shaped design, Mandurah Cruises’ uber-cool BBQ Boats provide the perfect setting for relaxed socialising. They are fitted with a circular picnic table and charcoal BBQ designed by famed international chef, Heston Blumenthal. Bring your own drinks and barbecue or picnic food, and eco-friendly tableware and cooking essentials are provided. Being eco-inspired electric, they are fume-free and whisper quiet, respecting Mandurah’s precious marine world and wildlife. While cruising, you may spot wild dolphins, swans, pelicans and local wildlife. Cruise past Mandurah’s thriving waterfront, glamorous yachts and through the canals. Share lunch with drinks along the way, or find a nice spot to anchor to take in panoramic views. BBQ Boats are easy to drive and no skipper’s ticket is needed. Simply show valid photo ID, be 21 years and older and you will receive a briefing and safety instructions, plus a map for your scenic cruise. There are two sizes to choose from – a 6-seater or 10-seater option. For larger groups, a fleet of 4 boats provides capacity for up to 32 passengers. BBQ Boats are available to hire from central Mandurah every day during peak season. Bookings are essential.

5.00Yesterday I had a bbq cruise organised for my mums celebration. It was absolutely amazing. I was confused a bit with some info but when I emailed them they got back to me within couple hours. It was great mums friends had a blast. We saw couple dolphins, swans. I recommend hiring the bbq as well. Time goes so quick… but we all enjoyed every moment. The lady also gave us good explanations also

5.00We booked a boat for 4 of us. We took our own grub but paid for the BBQ at 30 dollars on the day. You’re even allowed to bring an eskie! We had the boat for an hour and a half, and went up and down the canals and were lucky to see some dolphins. Great fun on a lovely afternoon in Mandurah.

5.00The day was a bit overcast, so not too sunny. We had an enjoyable time, with the umbrella up, and not too windy. Our friends enjoyed the day and we are thinking of going again when it's not too hot and sunny, or windy.
Regardless of tourist or local resident, this is a fantastic experience.

5.00What a fabulous and unique experience the eco boats provided. After an informative conversation with the very pleasant staff we found it so easy to manoeuvre through the waterways. We saw numerous dolphins, two literally swam right past our eco boat which was the cherry on top of the cake for us. We chose the bbq option and so glad we did. Cooking on a bbq whilst on water was a totally new concept to me and one I will definitely do again, should I have the chance. 100% recommend this. ( What a would say is, do not try and go under the low bridges ) 😝

5.00Group of 4 adults, had a great time. Plenty of instructions. The BBQ worked great. Plenty of time to eat and explore !! We made up some beef and seafood skewers!! Yum !!

4.00Took our adult kids out on this little jaunt around Mandurah canals and cooked up a Kiwi Bar - B on the boat!!... we had the best fun. I think it was Nathan?! Gave the hubby a quick "driving lesson" , heated up the coals for the Bar-B and we were off. Utensils and cooking equipment all supplied, just bring your own food and drinks. They provide a speaker to blue tooth your music, and you cook and dine. Went for a tour around the canals and came across a curious dolphin to our excitement and joy. The large boats on the water and the people were very inclusive and friendly. A really enjoyable time and highly recommend. Thank you!!

5.00Great set up with nice clean craft and everything you need for a barbeque on board including china crockery, cutlery, serviettes etc. Plenty of room for six people, sun shelter and heat bead barbeque that is set up and lit for you before you leave. It cooked to perfection and the barbeque packs included two sausages, 1xchop, 1x piece of steak per person! Heaps of meat. Beautiful fresh bread rolls also provided. BYO salad. Boat is easy to manage and Gerd (the owner) is super friendly and helpful and provides really good info prior to leaving the departure point. He also provided us with a mobile phone in case we needed to call him and a boom box with music. Very safe and beautiful marina and canals to explore where dolphins came right up to our boat. We received this as a gift voucher and it was just an awesome day all round. Thanks Eco Boats

5.00After booking this tour we received multiple bits of info before we turned up along with multiple reminders as well. On arrival we were promptly organised and given all the information needed for a self drive and bbq at Mandurah marina. We left feeling super confident and loved the sedate trip and bbq on this unique tour experience. The weather was great and this was an excellent activity for all ages. Bbq is easily able to cater for fillet steaks and all the usual bbq meats as well. Really loved this experience thanks eco bbq boats !!
