Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge
Though not officially situated within the national park, Dungeness Spit is something of an oddity and well worth checking out. Extending 5 narrow miles into the Strait of Juan de Fuca, this is the world's longest sandspit and it continues to grow by about 14 feet each year. You can walk the entire length if you wish - your reward is a lighthouse - but it's not necessary to get the idea and novelty of this environment. The spit also acts as a refuge, birdlife is abundant - 90 bird species are known to nest here. And watch for harbor seals, orcas and minke whales in the water. They can be hard to spot, but there's lots of small mammals - especially rodents - and you may also see deer and skunks.

4.00This audio tour of Olympic National Park provided very useful information on highlights in the area. The driving prompts were most useful. There were interesting stories along the way, also. I will admit that after a couple of days, the voice got a bit annoying, and would start up suddenly. Maybe a quiet "ding" just before he started talking would help! That being said, this was a big help.
So easy going!

5.00This was the best 20 bucks we’ve spend in a long time. Highly highly recommend. Guide is very accurate and gives you a lot of historical, natural, and anthropological information. Then there’s the droll sense of humor which we grew to love.

5.00My friend and I were not sure what all to do so I purchased the self driving tour. The information in the tour was great have us spots to stop that we never would have know about. The history of the area and fun facts were great. While playing the audio it was nice it would break into our music and then after the information it would go back into our music. Highly highly recommend this. Will buy other tours for other areas.

3.00The narrative was great. Getting everything to work, understanding the permissions the app required, then it not running in background until everything sorted was not. All that was a PITA. But once we got it working it was very very good and the narration and tour tracking great. My in-laws who were with us would have struggled to get this working. For the technically adept the way it's currently set up. Suggest company needs to try and simplify.
Difficult to load, difficult to use, but quite good once you figure it out.

3.00Title says it all. Incredibly complex to load. You are buying for a designated date as a result it took almost an hour to get loaded. Wasn't obvious on how to get it started on the tour and dropped its Bluetooth connection randomly as well as each time you stopped. Once connected and you got the Bluetooth sorted out it was really informative and great to listen to.
Spot on. Easy to use with little tech savvy.

5.00Directions and commentary were spot on. Amazing synchronization with GPS. A great balance of sites to see cultures to understand. Local, economic drivers, and history narrator was very clear and enthusiastic. My only criticism is that the volume was too loud and I couldn’t figure out how to adjust it either in the app on my phone or with the car speaker.
