The Maximum Weight for 2 people is 200kg (440lbs).
The minimum age to drive is 18 years old. Children aged 7 to 12 years or at least 1.20 m (3.93 ft) can travel in a Booster seat (let us know in advance if you need one). All minors must be accompanied by an adult, and it is mandatory to sign a Term of Responsibility for children up to 13 years old.
Necessary to have a valid Driver’s License and an ID document or Passport.
What happens if the car runs out of battery during my rental? You will have to call the telephone number that is written on the car, and we will give you all the necessary support in order to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
All customers with reservation must check in 15min prior to the tour start.
What is the company's policy on rescheduling the experience in case of bad weather conditions? In case of bad weather conditions and if the company considers that there are no safety conditions to operate the activity, it’s possible to reschedule it for the same day depending on availability.
Credit Card deposit per car (to be refunded at end of tour 100€).
Are there any restrictions on where I can park a Spinach car? You can park the Spinach wherever cars and motorcycles are parked. You just have to pay attention, because some of these parking lots are paid.
What happens if there's an accident or the car is damaged during my rental? The car's documents are in the trunk, and it has third-party liability insurance, just as in a typical auto accident. Contact the support number in order to streamline the procedure.
Can I take a Spinach car outside of the city limits? We recommend driving just on the chosen route so that you can fully enjoy the experience. There are also roads that are prohibited, such as motorways, highways, and bridges.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

5.00We didn't even know it existed. We were walking and on our way to lunch and saw the cool little kart outside and immediately said to each other... we gotta do that!! We only had two hours but the guy in the store told us where to go and what we could expect. We got a deal because it was a morning price and it was the best 65 EURs we spent! It took a little bit to get used to as it's no steering wheel, but like a scooter, but then it had a pedal for a brake so if you are a car driver it was a bit of a bizarre feeling as you wanted to step on the GAS instead of the break. We ended up getting on and went flying around the island up along the ocean and got our camera out and snapped away. We laughed and cried with more laughter. When we walked back in to give the car back, we said it was the most fun. EVA!

5.00We were very pleased with the briefing to the Spinach.The employee was very friendly.Our digitally guided tour was also great.The only problem is the suspension of the vehicle, as you can adjust the brake thresholds e.g. on the way up to the Botanical Garden gets extremely hard to feel.,but definitely recommended!

5.00Just amazing and super fun. Discovering yourself with a route, you can easily go back from the route. Bring a towel for the backrest. 190 cm is the maximum length.

5.00Great way to see the local area. The electric buggy was different but great fun - only takes a few minutes to learn how to steer (just like driving a moped). The iPad not only showed us our route but gave us fun and interesting facts as well. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

5.00It was a nice tour. The whole thing started with a great briefing. The vehicles, driven like a scooter, are a lot of fun. Route guidance including explanations (language was selectable) is ensured by a tray. We will be in Lisbon soon, there we will explore the city again with Spinach Tours 👍🏻
