Booked a 3 day trip from Guatemala City to semuc champey. Prior to the trip things sounded a little complicated- meeting point pick up, joining group BUT once a received the group operators wattsap contact everything went completely smoothly. Tour operator was very helpful and checked all the time that we managed with pick up and everything. The actual tour booked at semuc champey was wonderful. Accommodation at the hostel was lovely. Food was excellent. People working at the hostel are very friendly and very helpful.

This was an amazing experience. The agency connected with us as soon as we made the reservation, and the communication throughout the days was excellent. Transportation was seamless, and the hostel (Oasis) was amazing, located right by the river. The tour to Semuc Champey and the caves, guided by Felix, was absolutely incredible. Highly recommended!

A wonderful experience. Hector de GTM Tour was attentive to us, very attentive to our concerns. The hostel Oasis is cute, the excursion to Semuc was amazing and I want to highlight our guide Felix who made us enjoy the place putting all the good vibes and feeling safe. We had a wonderful time. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED GTM TOUR GUIDE & TRAVEL AND FELIX GUIDE. I also want to highlight Erika the receptionist of the Oasis hostel and José another of the guys who served us at breakfast and lunch.

Semuc Chapay was an amazing experience and a mega-perfect day. Hiking, swimming, caving and tubing, each fun and adventurous. All in the most beautiful setting. It’s a long ride, but worth it. Hector took care of every detail for me. Shuttles, hotel, tour, even had his driver meet me at the shuttle stop in Guatemala City to take me to my hostel. He arranged for a nice room right on the river! I can’t recommend this any more.

The hostal Oasis was beautiful, great location, easy check in and free wifi in the common areas; however, the service was below average, (there was no communication misunderstandings since I’m fluent in spanish) it took forever to receive our food, drinks from the limited menu (what was included in our bundle). The tour to the caves was chaotic, overcrowded unsafe at times and no history of the caves or place was given. We ended up doing our own research and come to find out that these caves were believed to be the heart of heaven and I can see why, they were absolutely breath taking. He best part of our tour was the hike up to the beautiful mirador of the pozas of Semuc Champey. The lazy tube ride was fun and relaxing. I wish we would of spent more time by the water falls. Overall was a good experience.

This tour was amazing, was very well organized and was perfect during my itinerary in Guatemala. We leave from Guatemala City in a Shuttle to Laquin. The next day, we did many activities, such as visiting the caves, swimming in waterfalls, tubing down the river, visiting the Semuc Champey viewpoint, and swimming in several wells. The next day we had our transfer to Flores. Hector coordinated everything so we didn't have to think about anything else to enjoy, and also had meals included. Highly recommended!!!

This was an excellent tour! Two days of travel (there and back) by bus and one day to see the Kamba Caves + Semuc Champey. The sights were absolutely incredible and the nature was stunning! We hiked/swam through the caves, went inner-tubing down the river, hiked up to a vista point to see the natural pools, and then actually swam in the pools. It was a pretty adventurous day and very active - would not recommend if uncomfortable in water or with hiking. Meals at the hostel were included (up to a certain price limit) and decent quality. The Oasis hostel was located right next to a river which was beautiful. Our only issue was with transport while in Semuc Champey which was organized by the hostel; our driver was drinking alcohol, making lewd comments, asking for extra payment, etc. I would recommend caution to single female travelers or small groups, given this. But overall, a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend!

My friend and I were very happy with this tour! We only had a week in Guatemala and this gave us the perfect opportunity to visit Semuc Champey and go to each place we wanted to go. They picked us up in Guatemala City, took us to Semuc Champey, and even dropped us off at Lake Atitlan afterwards (instead of back in Guatemala City) for no extra cost. The hostel was great and the people were extremely nice. Even though it may be cheaper to plan this all yourself, it was well worth the cost because everything was already set up and perfectly planned for us. We did not have to worry about anything. Very great tour!
