What To Expect

Come aboard the Blue Front, on a family boat, observe dolphins in their natural habitat, in Professor Luiz Saldanha Marine Park, in Sesimbra. Target species are Tursiops truncatus and Delphinus delphis. Although uncommon sometimes we can be surprised by orcas, whales, moonfish and sharks. Prepare for moments of strong emotions and relaxation on a guided tour by a marine biologist. Join your family or friends and come and observe these fantastic living beings, just 30 minutes from Lisbon, getting to know their habits, characteristics and behaviors. It is important to note that the location of these animals is never accurate, since they are in the wild, but we commit to doing our best to ensure their observation. The Blue Front has an official license No. 28/2021 issued by the Marine Park protection and supervision authority Professor Luiz Saldanha - ICNF (Institute for Conservation of Nature and Forests), for the activity of observance of cetaceans. I don’t need many words to describe it, it was fantastic! It was the first time we did this kind of activity and it was excellent. We had the opportunity to see a very shy whale and huge dolphins. Thank the blue front team for the sympathy.

The tour was amazing and we were lucky enough to see so many dolphins. Our guide, Vanessa, was very knowledgeable. We also stopped for a swim in one of the coves.

We had a great time with Blue Front. Everything was super easy and they went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect.Vanessa and co made sure we saw lots of dolphins and we even had a swim. Great communications, too. Recommended!
we left the harbour we had the chance to see dolphins and then observe the caves afterwards

We had such a wonderful time on the dolphin boat tour! Vanessa and her father were fantastic guides and shared lots of interesting information about the dolphins. We were lucky enough to see both species that live in the area, which was an unforgettable experience. It’s great to see that they follow the official rules for watching dolphins in the natural park, ensuring the animals are respected and left in peace. The trip also takes you past the famous beach and includes a short visit inside a cave — the perfect ending to a lovely tour. Highly recommended!

Great experience with Vanessa and Goncalo! We were able to observe dolphins very closely, who played with the boat, remaining very respectful of animals. Vanessa was able to answer all our questions and then sent us the pictures of the outing! My 7-year-old daughter loved it! We highly recommend and the "small committee (7 on the boat) is a real plus. Another big thank you to Blue Front.

Out to sea with Vanessa, biologist and her mom to see the dolphins. People as adorable as they are professional. All this in a family boat. It was just magic!!! Thanks to them both for finding the dolphins and allowing us to spend time admiring them in their natural environment. They speak very good French, frankly do not hesitate they are the best in the area. Many thanks to both of you ❤️❤️❤️

We had a lovely boat trip in Sesimbra to see dolphins and found them almost right away! They were shy but magical to watch, and we saw quite a few. The tour also took us past some natural beaches and beautiful caves, with interesting stories about the area’s history along the way. The guides were incredibly friendly and made the whole experience feel relaxed and special. They offered us some delicious local treats and refreshments. We had a wonderful time and would 100% recommend it.
