What To Expect
Into The Wild Azores Tours
On this visit, you will see the west side, the breathtaking Sete Cidades and Vista do Rei perspective, giving you the sight of the Irresistible Blue and Green Lake alongside the seductive Sete Cidades city, Lagoa do Fogo Mountain view, ending with the magic thermal waters bath for an unforgettable day in paradise. Enjoy an 8-hour adventure by going through Sete Cidades and Lagoa do Fogo. Start from your accommodation and then go out and explore one of Portugal’s seven wonders. We’ll start by a trip towards the northern part of the island, passing through multiple viewpoints located at Pico do Carvão , Lagoa do Canário, Grota do Inferno and the Vista do Rei, where you’ll enjoy one of the most beautiful views facing the two lakes of Sete Cidades, as well as visiting it’s parish in the center. After lunch, we’ll be heading towards the Fábrica de Cerâmica Vieira (Vieira Ceramics Factory) located at the city of Lagoa, and then going to the viewpoint located at Pico da Barrosa (at the top of Lagoa do Fogo). We’ll also stop by some viewpoints on our way down the mountain until we reach the Caldeira Velha (old hot spring), where we’ll enjoy thermal baths. Afterward, we’ll visit the Mulher do Capote factory, we’ll you’ll get the chance to taste our liqueurs. 5.00This was a great private tour on the spectacular island of Sao Miguel in the Azores. Felipe was one of the best tour guides I’ve ever encountered. He was friendly, upbeat, knowledgeable, and a kind, courteous driver…He worked diligently to ensure our satisfaction and even got us into the thermal pools at Caldera Velha last minute…This was the highlight of our day and we are so appreciative that he made it happen. Would definitely recommend Into the Wild Azores tours in Punta Delgada to anyone!!

5.00We had an amazing day exploring Sãn Miguel with our guide Phillipe. He picked us up at the cruise port and made the most of every minute of our day. The weather was ever-changing, so he moved some stops around so we could have the best chance to see the highlights and even added an extra stop in the city center so we could experience the beauty of the mosaic pavement and architecture. He was knowledgeable, patient, funny, polite, and always assuring us that we’d see as much as possible and still make it back to our ship on time. Thank you for an unforgettable day, Phillipe!

5.00Eduoardo was great. He was easy going, but highly informative. Knew a lot about his islands, and you could tell he really loved the Azores. He was very friendly and good with the kids. We loved the views and he was great at getting us to those photo ops. I highly recommend him.

5.00Eduardo picked us up on time at the cruise ship port and took us on a fabulous full day tour. He was well informed and obviously very familiar with the tour area. He adjusted the sequence of our tour by closely monitoring the weather and we avoided the rain in every stop we made. We stopped for an excellent buffet lunch and avoided the big cruise ship crowds as much as possible. 5 star service by Eduardo, kudos to Into the Wild!!

5.00We were 3 couples off the cruise ship Norwegian Pearl. Had a wonderful day and highly recommend. Lunch was an unique experience at a local establishment. Our lunch had been cooking in the crater for 10 hours. Seeing how this local meal is made was incredible and so delicious. Scenery was fantastic. Beautiful island and our guide was so proud to show us around at our pace. No problem getting back to the ship on time. Fantastic day!!!

5.00Bruno is the nicest, funniest and kindest guide I ever had. He knows everything about the island.. History, geography, places to go.. He takes us to some "secret places" that you won't do if you don't know the island very well. He will also give you lots of informations about things to do on the island. Good places to do snorkeling, hiking... I recommend at 200% Intothewildazorestours!! I want to precise that the tour was supposed to be a 7hours tour but Bruno took us for like 9hours so again big big thanks to him. It's a really good guide who don't count his hours! He also had lunch with us and pay for everything (beer, dessert.. Extra dessert..). We don't know how to thanks you enough!!! I love to see all that passion. You will feel that Bruno really loves what he's doing 😊 If you have any question, feel free to contact him. He will answers your questions. Thank you Bruno you're the best. We spend a really beautiful day with you!!🤗🤗
