Triglav Seven Lakes are known as one of the most beautiful valleys in the Julian Alps. The legend says if you throw a rock into one of the lakes, it will rain. The hike itself is quite a long one, with steep terrain only at the very beginning. However, after a while, the path flattens, and you can relax while enjoying the unique alpine flora throughout the day. It is fit for families with children, too.
The tour offers magnificent views over some of the highest peaks of the Julian Alps, and the colorful beauty of the 7 lakes – from dark blue, crystal clear to emerald green. You will be amazed by the sight of the lakes while enjoying an active day with fresh air in the kingdom of the Goldenhorn.

What To Expect
Our mountain guide will pick you up in Bled and drive you to the starting point in Bohinj. The guided hiking tour will lead you past beautiful mountain pastures with shepherd’s cottages among forests and clearings covered with mountain flowers. Along the way, you will be surrounded by the scree slopes and peaks of the highest mountains in the Julian Alps. We will stop at the Triglav Lakes Hut on the southern edge of the valley, where you can enjoy refreshments and traditional Slovenian dishes. On our hike, we will be able to see Double Lakes, Big Lake, Green Lake, Red Lake and Lake under Vršac. After a short break at Zasavska mountain cottage, we will descend back down, through the whole Valley, back to the starting point. The guide will drive you back to Bled.

5.00Altitude Adv communicated well about the trip and changes due to weather ( which can’t be controlled). The hike was a really good up-up-up down-down-down leg workout and Clara was a delightful guide - very positive and cheerful even though it’s been a long hot tourist season in Bled. I enjoyed the adventurous hike. Wear good boots! Thank you.

The pace, breaks were perfect and her knowledge was very informative. It was quite challenging at times but always spectacular. The scenery and wildflowers were simply beautiful, just go!

5.00I went on the Seven Triglav Lakes Hike with Altitude Activities in late September during a three-week trip to Croatia and Slovenia. It was without a doubt one of the highlights of my visit. The scenery is spectacular, and my tour guide Aleksandra was absolutely wonderful. We had such a fun day together in the mountains, and her joy and enthusiasm were contagious. She was also very conscientious about safety and speed, always making sure that everyone in the group was comfortable with the pace, etc. Next time I’m in Lake Bled, I will 100% book another tour with this company and with Aleksandra specifically!

5.00Amazing doesn't even begin to describe my 14 hour experience with Aleksandra from Altitude Activities. Communication and pick-up was timely. They even went out there way to arrange the tour despite it still being low season. This circuit requires good physical fitness and an even greater sense of adventure. The nature is stunning!
