Loved seeing the animals at the reserve. We saw free range baboons, held a snake, saw green monkeys, elk, ostriches, and zebras. The reserve also has interesting exhibits of artifacts, skins, and skulls. We also climbed a hill with ropes to see an amazing view of the reserve. Tobias was our driver and was very nice understanding it was my first time to Africa. Rachel was our reserve guide and was also good. Highly recommend.

I visited Shai Hills National Park with my school and I really liked it.The park is very beautiful with lots of nature and impressive landscapes. We were able to see animals like baboons and antelopes, which was really cool. The visit was interesting and we learned a lot about Ghana.I especially liked the caves and the stories we were told.It was both fun and educational. The place is calm and it’s very different from the city.I recommend this park to anyone who likes nature. It’s also a great idea for school trips.Honestly, it was a great experience!

Visited Shai Hills with BOA travels. Our guide was Zaid. He was calm, friendly and attentive. He was also a skilled driver. The 1/2 day was well-structured. The main animal attraction was the antelopes. There were also some imported Zebras and Ostriches within an enclosure. The short hike to the top of the hills was not taxing and yielded a beautiful view across the reserve. Zaid and our local guide, a delightful young lady whose name I have forgotten were also great company. This was a short trip that took us to a peaceful Oasis just North East of Accra that I would highly recommend.

Touring Shai Hills Forest Reserve with Enoch and his team at Best of Africa Travels was simply unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, their professionalism and warmth made us feel at ease. Enoch guided us through the reserve with deep knowledge of its wildlife, history, and cultural significance, turning every stop into a learning experience. We enjoyed breathtaking views from the rocky hils, spotted baboons, ostriches, zebras, antelopes and vibrant bird species, and explored fascinating caves that added a sense of mystery. The team’s attention to detail and genuine passion for showcasing Ghana’s natural beauty made the trip both enriching and enjoyable. I highly recommend

Visiting the Shai Hills Forest Reserve in Ghana was a truly beautiful nature experience. Just an hour’s drive from Accra, the reserve felt like stepping into another world. The landscape was a striking mix of savannah grassland, rocky hills, and patches of forest, each offering its own charm. As I walked along the trails, the air was fresh and filled with birdsong, creating a peaceful rhythm that made me slow down and simply take it all in. seeing the baboons, antelopes, zebras, ostriches in their natural habitants was refreshing and beautiful, I got to learn the history and culture about the Shai people who migrated from Nigeria to the present-day Ghana. Thanks to Enoch and Xade my tour guide driver for making this tour a memorable one, I highly recommend Enoch and his team at Best of Africa Travels for all your tour and excursion in Ghana

Outside Accra, the slopes and mountains are a welcome nature view. The entrance fees are really off the pot and then do a walk of 500 meters to view.two ostriches and 12 zebras (captivity and import). The baboons sit there in their natural habitat. The museum.is little. Noisy quad bikes crisscross the park with tourists coming to disturb the peace of the animals. Unworthy of a natural park.
