This is the best half day mountain tour to get out of Denver and see the mountains without spending an entire day touring. These small group tours are designed to get you out to See, Learn and Explore not just drive past. This tour really highlights the best of our Denver Mountain Park system. Visit Red Rocks Park and amphitheater, then travel up into the mountains via Bear Creek Canyon to the quaint mountain town of Evergreen. Browse the local shops or enjoy a quick drink in the Saloon, winery, or local coffee shop. Witness beautiful Rocky Mountain vistas while climbing over a beautiful mountain pass to Echo Lake at 10,600 ft. Stroll around this beautiful glacial lake sitting at the base of 14,256 foot Mt. Blue Sky and enjoy the mountain scenery. Travel by historic Genesee Mountain Park while viewing herds of Buffalo and Elk on your way back into Denver. *Wildlife viewing not guaranteed.

We recommend a jacket year round as the mountains are always colder than Denver. In the winter hat and gloves are recommended as well.
Children under 4 years old not permitted
Access into the amphitheatre is dependent on sound check closures by performers the day of. We recommend taking our morning tour for best chances of accessing the inside of the amphitheatre itself during concert seasons.

5.00I did the Red Rocks, Evergreen, and Echo Lake tour and it was a very well-organized and enjoyable experience. The group was not too large, which made it feel much more personal and relaxed rather than rushed or crowded. Anne was an excellent guide. She shared interesting information throughout the entire drive, that made the tour much more engaging. She also gave us great suggestions for places to eat and things to do in Denver. We made several stops with enough time to explore and take everything in. The nature was beautiful and we were even lucky enough to see some bisons. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour if you want to experience the natural side of Denver and spend a few hours away from the urban environment, surrounded by beautiful landscapes.

5.00The room was great. We'll get a higher floor next time for different views. The shop was very convenient and the bar was nice. Walking distance to anything downtown and one block over from free bus ride anywhere on 16th street.
