Enjoy a comfortable boat and a small group experience with our passionate guides who will be happy to share their knowledge of humpback whales and other marine animals.
We will be keen to have you observe the whales while being respectful in our approach. A small group of 6 people maximum makes this experience even more unique and intense. We love meeting our customers and like to create a friendly bond in our group.

What To Expect
Embark aboard Inutai, our new and comfortable semi-rigid boat to discover the majestic humpback whales of Polynesia. If conditions allow, our guide will be happy to accompany you safely to swim with these giants of the ocean. It is not uncommon to be able to observe other animals during your experience such as dolphins, turtles, rays and sharks. Ocean snorkeling requires good physical condition and to be comfortable with fins / mask / snorkel. Our captain and our guide will share with you their love and passion for the ocean as well as their knowledge of the marine world so do not hesitate! UltraReef is approved by the DIREN for observation and photography, we are concerned about respecting the rules of approach and animals.

5.00Excursion is beyond amazing - if you are lucky to enjoy whale encounter for appreciable length of time. Otherwise, prepare yourself to be satisfied with a comfortable boat ride along the western end of the north side of the island. Land scenery is quite beautiful. Swimming in the endless clear cobalt blue water is an experience in an of itself to appreciate the vastness of the ocean. There are sharks. Odds are you are safe, though sharks ruin opportunity to simultaneously look for whale.
