Eagle watching - Eagle watching in mangrove forests is a captivating experience that combines the thrill of observing majestic birds of prey with the unique beauty of these coastal ecosystems. Mangroves provide a rich habitat for a diverse array of wildlife, including various species of eagles such as the white-bellied sea eagle or the majestic bald eagle, depending on the region. These birds are often seen soaring gracefully above the dense canopy or perched high on branches, scanning the waters for fish and other prey. The intricate network of roots and waterways in mangroves offers an ideal setting for eagles to hunt and nest, making them prime locations for birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts. Whether you're on a guided tour or exploring on your own, eagle watching in mangroves offers an unparalleled opportunity to connect with nature and witness the incredible interplay between avian predators and their thriving ecosystems.
Monkey Area - Mangrove forests are fascinating ecosystems that provide a unique habitat for a variety of wildlife, including several species of monkeys. These coastal forests, found in tropical and subtropical regions, are characterized by their dense, tangled roots that thrive in saline and brackish waters. Monkeys in mangrove areas have adapted to this challenging environment, often using the trees' extensive root systems and branches to navigate and forage for food. They primarily feed on fruits, leaves, and small animals, taking advantage of the rich biodiversity present in mangrove ecosystems. These monkeys play a crucial role in maintaining the health of mangrove forests by aiding in seed dispersal and helping to balance the ecosystem. Additionally, mangroves provide vital protection against coastal erosion and serve as a buffer against storms, highlighting the importance of conserving these unique areas for both wildlife and human communities.

An excellent and enjoyable excursion with some great places visited and lots of photo opportunities. My only criticism is that the driver who picked us up from the port and took us to the place we got on the boat did not give any commentary.

We had a wonderful time on this tour with our 7 & 10 year old! The guide Hasan (sp?) was really knowledgeable and cared deeply about the ecology of the mangrove forest and the animals there. We saw eagles, monkeys, bats, and even dolphins! Our daughter tends to get seasick so I was nervous about going but she didn’t feel sick at any point! Definitely a highlight of the trip to Langkawi and I highly recommend this company. Booking couldn’t have been easier and they pick you up at your hotel!

The boat tour itself was stunning! Amazing places to see. However, the person who picked us up from the hotel and transferred back was very weird… It was impossible to understand him… Also, he was constantly taking pictures/maybe videos of us without any consent… and we don’t understand why it was needed… it was very creepy Moreover, we arrived at the departure spot 50 minutes prior to the boats departure, having to wait for everyone under the heavy rain

Was a well organised tour. The tour company, Al Qads Transport was very prompt in responding and updating me every time I contacted them via WhatsApp. The tour guide/boat driver was very knowledgeable and informative. The spots covered were beautiful. Overall a nicely done trip well worth the price.

I rarely write reviews, only reviewing experiences I truly believe others may enjoy or benefit from. This Half Day Mangrove Boat Tour with Lunch in Langkawi firmly fits within my criteria. From start to finish this experience was organised flawlessly. We got picked up from our hotel precisely on time. Upon arrival at the jetty we only had to wait a few minutes before we were shown to our private boat for the morning. Our skipper was very welcoming and informative. We got taken to all the sites mentioned in the itinerary and had as long as we wanted at each (within reason obviously). We got to see monkeys and a snake in the mangroves, eagles diving for food in the rivers and dolphins swimming in the sea. The scenery was breathtaking, with our skipper pointing out noteworthy landmarks. The lunch at the floating fish farm was simple, yes, but was so flavourful we had to ask for seconds! Do not get put off by how simple it sounds. Crispy chicken, tasty rice, a herbal soup and orange cordial drink with orange wedges for dessert. We were also shown some of the many incredible fish they had on show which we got to feed and even touch a few. Overall this experience is not to be missed and I fully recommend you to go for it. You won't be disappointed.

My wife and I had a wonderful memorable 4D/3N stay in Langkawi. I engaged Al Qads Transport & Tour Langkawi for the tour. Mr Aiman arranged "Langkawi Great and Fun Tour" package for us. It includes all the wonderful itinerary such as the ATV Ride Waterfall, Kilim Mangrove Safari River Cruise with private charter boat, Cable Car and Sky Bridge. On arrival at Airport we were greeted by the driver Mr Zainudin and transfer to Hotel. The driver Mr Amir picked us from the hotel for the daily tour. He is prompt, punctual and friendly. He shared with us some history about Langkawi. He fulfilled the daily itinerary, never rush us for time and even offer to bring us to additional places that we would like to go. I will highly recommend Al Qads to my friends and relatives. I'll be back. Thank you.

Lovely Day with pick up on time, Hassan as a perfect guide with all kinds of detailed stories to tell about the environment, animals and history. Lunch could be improved to receive a full five star review, for the rest: perfect!
