Everything went well. Simon was a great driver / guide. James at the sheep farm was excellent in showing the sheep sheering and explaining about the farm… the visit to the winery was also good with 5 different wine tasting … for those with young kids (who can’t drink wine) there were also some board games that kids were happy to play

This was such a fun day for us. Simon our driver was a wealth of knowledge on the areas we drove through as we made our way to the sheep farm. It helped the time to pass quickly and gave us some insight into the history of Christchurch and it's surrounding suburbs. The farmer James shared his passion for sheep and farming. And the views from the farm we amazing, I could have stayed there for hours just enjoying the peaceful nature of the area. The meal provided was great and more than we expected. We then headed to the winery and were warmly greeted by all that worked there. It was the perfect way to cap off our day.

Our Mr Driver, Simon was humorous, friendly, professional, knowledgeable. Most importantly he was frank - when he wasnt sure about interesting questions we raised he told us he would find out answers. Varieties of programs provided......

Rare opportunity to do a trip not many travellers or locals take. Simon, our driver, was so informative. North of Amberley the coach turns onto a little used road. The family owned and run farm is in wonderful hilly coastal location. Great talk about sheep breeds, plus shearing and sheep dog demos. A visit to their own tractor museum was followed by a hearty picnic lunch. Then on to the winery. My vegetarian and no alcohol diet were both catered for. Good weather helped but a great trip that's available for most of the farming year. First part is a great off the beaten track experience. Back in Christchurch late afternoon so not a tiring day. I've done other farm tours over the years but this one has that extra special something.

Simon our tour guide was not only humorous, but was also very well versed in the local history and subject matter he chatted to us about during the tour. It was amazing and well informed trip taking us through local Moari customs and heritage to snippets on the Christchurch earthquake disaster. Glenafric family run and owned sheep farm was just beautiful. Set on the cliff top overlooking a renowned beach that still produces historical artefacts that date back 8 - 12 million years was just mind blowing in itself. The information around the wool industry and the hands on sheep shearing and dog herding displays were exceptional. The owner also showed us his impressive private collection of up to 20 tractors dating back multiple decades. The picnic lunch packs at the Glenafric bungalow was amazing and the trip to George road winery was the perfect way to round off a fantastic trip. The winery was so beautiful and the owner Kirk took special care at each table of guests to pour a few top drops and chat and chuckle casually with everyone. At the end of the day, it was clear all parties on the tour were satisfied. Thanks for the great tour

Authentic New Zealand! A beautifully crafted tour starting from the city center to a working sheep farm where we played with and fed animals, followed by a gourmet lunch and a boutique winery visit. Exceptional commentary and engagement from our tour guide!

Hands down the best tour experience we’ve had in New Zealand! We were coming from a cruise ship and Geoff personally met us, making sure our connection went smoothly. Simon was a delightful and knowledgeable tour guide. The farm tour was a wonderfully personal learning experience, topped off with an absolutely delicious organic box lunch in a beautiful location. Our stop at George’s Road Winery was the perfect ending to a great day. Incredibly professional from start to finish - we give these folks our highest praise!
