Nonbee Yokocho
Just steps from the frenzy of Shibuya Station lies an alley time forgot. In Nonbei Yokocho, about forty post-war wooden row-houses squeeze together, each holding only three to six seats. Menus are handwritten, sake is poured by eye, and the stools are occupied by regulars, not sightseers. A lone visitor may be turned away with a polite “Full” or “Japanese only.”
Shibuya
Shibuya hides izakaya that turn a simple drink into a miniature adventure. One night you might find yourself at a table crowned with a gleaming tap: twist the handle and an endless stream of ice-cold lemon sour fills your glass, ready for DIY “kanpai” photos that light up social feeds. Another evening could drop you into a wooden pier built inside a dining room, where you cast a rod into an indoor pond, feel a tug, then watch the chef transform your catch into sashimi seconds later—freshness you can measure in heartbeats. Or you might push open a door and step straight back to school: wooden desks, green chalkboard, and a bell that signals the start of “class” as retro pop blares from an old cassette deck. Wherever the night leads, these modern-edge izakaya fuse playful theatre with classic Japanese hospitality, letting you taste, touch, and laugh your way through the new face of Tokyo nightlife.

Haru san was an excellent host. Went to two charming spots in Shibuya. Would recommend but fair warning this is a small group tour. It will just be your group on the tour .

A hidden alley bar exploration tour with a friend, this was already the best! There are so many secret bars! The first thing I find interesting is that the guide guides guide you through the narrow alleyways of Shibuya. What was most reassuring was that the guide would guide us through everything in his own hands. They suggested recommended drinks and food and helped me order. Thanks to this, we just enjoy the atmosphere and enjoy a good drink. It was a night of luxury!

This was such a fun intro to Tokyo. We were able to go to new places we would have never found on our own.

I joined a tour exploring Shibuya's hidden bars and it was an amazing, off-the-beaten-path adventure! Our guide led us to unique spots I'd never find alone, showing a side of Shibuya beyond the tourist crowds. The best part? The guide handled all ordering and explanations, eliminating any language barrier. This made trying new, unique cocktails and foods incredibly easy. The tour saved me so much time on research, offering a genuine, immersive experience. If you want a deep dive into Shibuya's local nightlife, this is a must-do!

Shibuya comes a lot, but I didn't know it had such deep alleys! Stylish hideaways kept showing up, and I couldn’t stop excited! The most impressive part of the bar was the wide variety of cocktails and the conversation with the master. The guide told us about the restaurant's commitment and the food that goes well with sake, so we were able to try a drink that we would not normally choose. The best part was that I was able to enjoy the night in Shibuya not as a tourist but from the perspective of the locals.

Join a hideaway bar tour in Shibuya with friends! I'm surprised that there was such an alley right next to the scramble intersection. It was like exploring a secret base, and the tension was high! The bar that the guide took me to is all very atmospheric. I'll never forget the bar, especially with its excellent cocktails made with fruit! You can experience the deep Shibuya that tourists don't go to, and it's perfect for social media! We were really glad to be a part of it, as it was all places we would never find on our own. Shibuya, which I use every day, suddenly felt like a special place.

Shibuya's back alley exploration tour is an adult adventure! I'm glad I took part because I don't think I would have noticed such a charming bar hidden in an alley by myself. The cocktails were all delicious and I had an extraordinary time away from the hustle and bustle of Shibuya. I'm very happy to discover a hideaway spot that I would never find myself!
