Shiraito Falls
Your guide explains how Mt. Fuji’s snowmelt filters through volcanic rock to emerge as thousands of fine “white threads,” forming a broad curtain of water and a cool misty microclimate. Learn the role of this area in historic Fuji-kō pilgrimages and ascetic training. Enjoy unhurried time for photos of Mt. Fuji and the falls. Paths are paved with steps; we keep an easy pace and can adapt for comfort.
Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha Shrine
At Fujisan Hongu Sengen Taisha, the heart of Mt. Fuji’s foothills. Beneath vermilion gates and cedars, we follow a quiet path to Wakutama-ike, a spring fed by Fuji’s aquifer. Here your guide shares how people give thanks for water and safety, and how simple etiquette—light bows, low voices—turns a visit into intention. Face the peak, listen to flowing water, and set the tone for the day. If you are interested, we can also arrange for special prayers such as warding off misfortune, safety at sea, good health, and good fortune. If you choose to participate, it will take an additional 30 minutes (depending on crowd conditions) and the cost is around 5,000 to 6,000 yen per person.
One bottle of water per person is included.
Private & Spacious Van included
Optional fees paid on-site in JPY (cash only), per person: goshuin stamp ¥500, shrine offering ~¥100, shrine prayers ~¥6,000. Fees may change.

I couldn’t recommend Taku more as a tour guide! He took me and my boyfriend on such a lovely tour around Fuji and the town. He gave us options on what we wanted to pick from and he even added more. Not only was he so delightful and fun to talk to, he also made us feel so welcome to his town. If you want an amazing experience full of great food, detailed history, and a genuine fun time. Book with Taku!

It was such a unique experience! The driver was really nice and knowledgeable. He really taught us about the culture in Japan. I will take this over shopping in Tokyo any day!

Takumu was an exceptional guide from start to finish! From the initial communications helping us craft a custom itinerary, to meeting us at the station, to offering thoughtful recommendations for our next stop — he was knowledgeable, engaged, and genuinely invested in making our experience special. The van transportation was comfortable and it was such a treat to simply be chauffeured from one location to the next without a second thought. We were treated to stunning views of Mt. Fuji from spots we never would have found on our own, and discovered some of the most breathtaking waterfalls along the way. We opted for the Yakisoba lunch and are so glad we did — it was delicious and felt like a truly authentic taste of the region. If you're looking for a meaningful way to experience a little more of Japan between the more well-known cities, this tour is an absolute must. Highly recommend!

Takumu was a brilliant guide from the start! Easy to communicate with when booking & gave a variety of options for the day. Takumu is local to the area so he took us to his favourite spots to enjoy the mountain views. We went to the Mt.Fuji heritage centre, Fugisanhongu sengentaisha which offered amazing views of Mt.Fuji. We then had Takumu’s favourite Yakisoba for lunch which was delicious and then finished our afternoon with a traditional tea experience. We got lucky with clear views of Mt.Fuji all day. We had so much fun and highly recommend Mt.Fuji soul tours!

We had an amazing experience with Tamuku! Unfortunately, the day we were at Mount Fuji it was raining. Tamuku immediately found an alternative activity which we thoroughly enjoyed – a private tea ceremony. Tamuku took us to a local bakery, to eat yakisoba and pork buns. The food was amazing!
