We had a great day doing a private combined history and food tour. Igor is personable, interesting and has encyclopedic knowledge of the history, architecture and culture of the town. We got a full walking tour of the old town and a chance to try a wide assortment of food and drink - a true taste of Sibenik. We would never have experienced or appreciated the town as much without this tour. Igor is such a friendly guy - a real people person. He’s in exactly the right profession! If you're researching guides, stop right now and just book Igor - he's the best. Highly recommended and money well spent!

Igor curated the most delightful cultural and culinary experience of our Croatian vacation and we are so grateful. His extensive historical research, cultural knowledge, network of local vendors, love of Sibenik, and his own horticulture experiences were readily apparent. Not only did we sample food, but we learned how to make an infused liquor using his herbs from his own garden. We loved every minute of our tour and recommend him highly.

This was more than a tour, it was an experience that will be remembered for a long time. We spent the day walking, eating and drinking like the locals do. One of the best Viator excursions we have ever taken!

We had a super time with Igor touring the local haunts for great food & drink traditionally consumed by locals. His knowledge of the local history & traditions was entertaining & informative. I would recommend this tour & Igor as a must do if you are visiting Sibenik.

We had such a great day with Igor! We loved the tour of the city and all the wonderful food and drink! Igor was the best host, and we absolutely loved Sibenek! We were visiting Sibenek as a cruise port and found out from Igor (not the ship) that we were not going to be docking in Sibenek but in a town about 15 mins away, he offered to come pick us up and bring us back to the new port, which made the port change easy and seemless! We can’t say enough great things about the whole experience! Thanks Igor!

Igor was an excellent host. The point was to spend a day as a local in town. We sampled a variety of food products, drinks, saw the site in Igor was excellent at providing background information and explaining what we were doing, what we were seeing in the historical significance. Igor took the time to prepare a local grappa mixture with herbs and spices for us to take home. He also provided us with dried figs to sample local produce and what you can do with it. At the farmers market, we saw the organic food products, and vegetables that are prepared in in the surrounding countryside I would highly recommend the tour both for the sites, the food, drinks, but in particular to spend a day with Igor, explaining how life really works in his hometown

This tour with Igor could not have been better. He shared his love for his home in such an engaging manner, we all fell in love with this beautiful area. The tour was paced incredibly well, with lots of information and unbelievable amounts of local food and drink. If you're in the area this is a must!

If you want to fall in love with Sibenik, book a "combined food & drink and historical tour" with Igor. He's an absolutely great guide. We received so much exciting historical information and super tasty food and drinks (be sure to try the Dalmatian smoke ham!). The day was simply perfect. We had a lot of fun and Igor showed us the Dalmatian way of life (learn to "rush slowly" as Dalmatians do). The next time we go on vacation to Sibenik - which we definitely plan to do - we will book a tour with Igor again.
