Singapore Oceanarium is accredited by the Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA) and is a member of the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA) and Southeast Asian Zoo and Aquarium Association (SEAZA) — a testament to its commitment to inspiring generations of ocean stewards.
Beyond its exhibits, Singapore Oceanarium is home to a Research and Learning Centre featuring advanced, purpose-built spaces for research, conservation, and community outreach. Certified by Singapore's Building and Construction Authority as a Green Mark Platinum Zero Energy building, the centre runs entirely on solar energy, with environmental sustainability at its core. This summer, experience the ocean like never before with the exclusive Cry Me an Ocean activation by POP MART — the largest activation to date at Singapore Oceanarium. Running from 24 June to 30 August 2026, guests can explore seven newly created marine-themed CRYBABY characters brought to life through larger-than-life inflatables, sculptures, and photo zones across Singapore Oceanarium, WEAVE, and an ocean-themed POP-Up store by POP MART. Specially designed installations placed alongside real marine habitats offer a fun and immersive way to connect with the wonders of the ocean
