It is definitely worth it to see Singapore from the observation deck. We visited the place in the evening because of two shows you can watch from the deck. One show starts at 7:45pm and the next one on 8;00pm. There is a restaurant on the observation deck if you are hungry. Definitely visit this place in the evening.

The Sky Park at the Marina Bay Sands has location and height to enjoy the surrounding view of the City of Singapore. The skyline of the city gives a modern look on one side and the ocean view on the other side has the horizon beyond and the greenery of the Gardens by the Bay below.

Beautiful views in every direction - a bit more info on the day to day areas would be helpful (major residential hubs, development changes etc)
