What To Expect

Rent a single kayak to paddle in paradise on the pristine waters of North Harbour, exploring exclusive beaches and taking in stunning scenery! We provide you with everything you need for your kayak adventure. No prior kayak experience is needed. Our friendly and experienced staff introduce you to basic paddling techniques and set you up with the necessary kayak skills as well as provide you with all the equipment you need for safe kayaking. We show you a map of our area of operation, and when you are ready, off you go on your kayak adventure.

I did three hour kayak solo. It was such a fabulous, sunny day! Perfect for kayaking. Craig was very helpful and told me where I could go and what to see. The equipment was good quality and I was given a life jacket which must be worn. The paddle was so much fun and I visited all the beaches I was told about. Most of the time I had the places to myself. The area is amazing to see from the water and I took my time. Paddling back the wind had picked up and so I had a good workout!! I highly recommend this as something to do if you love paddling, quiet beaches and nature. I had a brilliant time!

Craig is a very helpful and affable host, and very in tune with the safety and comfort of his customers. He will go out of his way to make sure their time on the water is the best it can possibly be. If the weather turns unexpectedly he will make sure all the craft are contacted and if necessary he will bring everyone back to sure well before any dangerous conditions arise. We have been hiring Craig’s kayaks for nearly twenty years and we can’t recommend him highly enough.

We are locals and always enjoy a kayak to Quarantine and Store Beaches. Beautiful day on the water! Staff at Manly Kayak are always friendly and supportive with advice and getting in and out of kayaks onto their floating platforms.

I regularly hire a kayak at MKC to paddle in the area. Daniel knows his stuff and will advise you where to go, which kayak to take, how to navigate the harbour safely,etc. The coastline and nearby beaches are beautiful. It is a unique experience mixing physical activity, peace and quiet, freedom and amazing views. I personally love breaking the trip with a coffee at Q beach. I highly recommend 👌

After booking, my friend called to say she may have to cancel. I called and spoke to Craig how was very happy to let us transfer our day / time if needed. We made it (a little late) and everyone was very friendly and accommodating. It was casual yet professional and the location is spot on. We'll be back!

We had a brilliant time in the single kayaks. Went over to Q Station for a drinks and then rowed back. Would recommend minimum of 2 hours so you can stop at the beaches along the way. The team was friendly and helpful

A beautiful paddle around four beaches in Manly and the stop at Quarantine Beach was informative. We dealt with Vincent at the kiosk and he was great.
