  My friend and I had a marvelous tour of Sintra and Cascais with our tour guide Miguel, he was very knowledgeable of the history of Portugal and very kind and polite taking the time to show us around, pause and enjoy the scenery! All in all a marvelous experience!

  We had an amazing experience on our private group tour! Miguel was very kind, flexible, and knowledgeable. He gave us great recommendations everywhere we went. Pena Palace was wonderful and definitely a highlight of the trip. We also stopped in Cascais, which was beautiful, and we loved that he let us tell him which places we wanted to see. Highly recommend!!

  We had a very pleasant experience on our tour to Sinatra. Miguel is personable and obviously experienced and knowledgeable about the area which also happens to be where he lives.

  This trip is amazing! Our tour guide Miguel Franklim is excellent. He speaks very good English, funny, and very I informative. I really like that he took us first to the Palace Pena and got us in before the wave of tourists started pouring in. The time limit he gave us is perfect for each stop. Each restaurant and dessert places he recommended were spot on. We also did a scenic view of the ocean on our way back to Lisbon. Me and my husband really enjoyed this tour.   We had a fantastic time, and Miguel was extremely informative about teaching us about his native Portugal. He told so many facts and anecdotes about the past and present that I hope that I can remember half of them. I especially enjoyed the discussion about the great earthquake that destroyed Lisbon, and the manner of rebuilding. Interesting discussion about Salazar’s dictatorship and how it was not all bad. The castle in Sintra was most interesting and his telling us about Ferdinand’s love for Maria and his love for Portugal before we entered the castle allowed us to explore and keep what he said in mind. Cascais was a good stop for lunch and minor shopping. The wife enjoyed that. A great time was had by all on our van, eight people.

  Bruno helped us navigate through the crowds and gave us a lot of information about the sites. Even with a full day, I only wish we had had more time! Bring a jacket.

  Bruno M is an excellent guide. He made the trip interesting and very educational. He is knowledgeable about the history of Portugal and gave detailed explanations. This is a worthwhile tour. No long lines or waiting because we got to Sintra early. There is good shopping and many restaurants in Cascais.
