This was one of the prettiest hikes I’ve ever been on that took us through many waterfalls and farming villages--all in one day. We came across huge cabbages, a chameleon, and cute kids. Our guide, Ian, gave us information about the area along the way, and shared about the local people’s coming-of-age ceremony for young men. I'd highly recommend booking this hike with Ian!

We had an incredible time at Sipi falls with our wonderful guides William and Iyan! Their tours are affordable, fun but most importantly they care about community development and responsibile tourism! We highly recommend Discover Sipi!

Was a pleasure to have William show me around the waterfalls and the coffee tour, incredible views and even drinkable water at the top waterfall. During the 3hr hike he was super experienced and stopped for breaks at all the prettiest sightseeing spots. The coffee tour was with a sweet local family and was a bit of a slower activity but made for some needed relaxation. Wear hiking boots and take the walking stick they offer or you'll be in the mud or down some slope 😂.

I had a fantastic day with Ian! The views of Sipi Falls are epic and the hike is really beautiful and interesting. It’s cool to see all 3 waterfalls as well as views of the valley and many many farms. And the local lunch was very delicious. I sure feasted. And then the coffee tour was perfect after the big lunch. We pounded the chaff off the coffee then roasted and ground it and made a delicious cup. And the farmers Tolbert and Betty are really sweet and friendly too. What a great day!

We loved our experience with Discover Sipi, we were two girls traveling alone and we felt very safe in every part of the trip! William was very friendly and always available, he even arranged for us transport to Sipi and accommodation at Lacam Lodge, with beautiful views of Mt. Elgon and on of the falls. Our guides was Ian, who explained everything during our hike and coffee tour, even took pictures of us. The coffee tour was totally worth it, making and drinking our own coffee. A special mention goes to our 2nd guide, Poppy a lovely dog that accompanied us during our adventure. Thank you, for the unforgettable experience!

My Guide William knows a lot about sipi's history, culture and land. He was also good at taking pictures and took a lot of great pictures. Going around Shipi Waterfall is a very pleasant experience. The coffee tour is also held at the home of a local person, where you can see the history of coffee and the process of making it. I was also lucky enough to go on a hiking and coffee tour with a friendly dog named papi. Even if you don't have shoes suitable for hiking, you can rent rubber boots.
