We had the most wonderful trip with Kingfisher. Communication with Milica were fantastic. Due to bad weather, our trip needed to be rescheduled and Milica reached out in a very timely way and was very accomodating with last minute changes that we requested. The team were very friendly and helpful when we checked in. We booked for the private trip around Pavlova Strana and had the most wonderful time. The lake itself is stunning and we were very well looked after with drinks and delicious fresh, warm Montenegrin donuts, cheeses and honey. Our captain, Dragan, was wonderful. Although we hadn't specifically booked a birdwatching tour, he noticed very quickly that that was our passion, and he very kindly helped us to identify birds that were new to us and on several occasions even noticed when we had spotted interested birds and stopped the engines so we could get a better look, without us even asking him to. He was very knowledgeable about the lake and its history and shared many interesting facts with us. A huge thank you to Dragan and the rest of the team for such a magical experience!

Beautiful lake Our guide spent a significant amount of the tour discussing accommodation and bar information with one guest when we were passing birds which we wanted to know more about. We tried to gain his attention but he was focussed on the bar discussions. Also later he spent significant time on his phone. Perhaps we should have given him the benefit of the doubt, he must have been organising an organ transplant for a sick relative.

Excellent 3 hour tour with lots of information. Give some time after the boat trip to explore as there’s a path for walking towards the winery. Not a lot of information available on getting to the lake without a car so be prepared for taxi costs.

Too long, and not a lot of explanations. An hour trip would suffice. In other similar tours the guide has more to explain and make the tour interesting.

Beautiful trip, incredible lake and scenery. We didn’t learn much from our guide which is why I gave it 4 stars . Still good value though.

The lake is beautiful, but the excursion itself wasn’t very engaging. Our guide only shared a few insights at four points, and some in our group found it boring. Private tours offer no real advantage over group tours. The lake is crowded with tourists all following the same path, which takes away from the experience. While I don’t regret visiting, it wasn’t as enjoyable or authentic as we had hoped.

We went on an organised trip via hotel. Home made doughnuts and honey eine onvthe boat. Embarked on a stunning embankment with the restaurant in front of us. Fabulous place and food, family run. Just a magical , beautiful place and you can swim in the lake or sit on the beach or just chill with a beer in the shade like we did

Easy book online. Safe journey. Beautiful scenery. Delicious wine. Funny captain. What more could you ask for. Make sure you have your swimming gear on for the 20 min swim time diving from the boat.

We went on this two-hour trip with our one-year old son Casper and it was absolutely perfect. Nice people, a very friendly captain and overall just a very enjoyable, beautiful trip on the Skadar lake, including wine and swimming!
