  I went there today 15.01.2026 at 8:05. The shop was opened. You fill your measurements on a screen (heights, weight, level of experience,boot number) and it prints you a paper. You give that paper to the staff and they give you boots and skis. The first two did not fit well, so they kept on searching patiently for a suitable pair of boots for my legs. Finally we found them! I had very nice skis as well. Thanks God they were very well serviced, since the slopes were very icy in the afternoon. I didn't fall even once! Would definately come back! In the end of the day, we come for skiing and the equipment here is great! Sincerely Tunay Mutaf

  Used this place a few times over the years in the past have paid around £90 for 6 days for 2 people hire for skis and helmet. Paid £90 each this year which seems quite high as a 100% markup ! Tried to explain but was told was all correct. Staff unreasonable and unwilling to listen or help. Only given economy skis. Wouldn’t use here again

  The whole point on going on holiday and spending your hard earned money is to get away from the horrible people you have to be around everyday day. If I knew I was going to be surrounded by them here also I wouldn’t have bothered coming

  We hired our children’s skis and boots here online via Aplinerentals. Skis and boots for 6 days £25 per set. Quick and easy showed booking ref no hard sell of upgrades or insurance. Not the most friendly staff but pleasant enough. Good standard of hire gear next year we will return and instead of taking our own adult skis and boots we too will be renting here again. Quality of skis and boots were very good had an issue with daughters boots no problem switched easy and fuss free.

  We were first time skiers and Traventuria provided us with ski rental, ski lessons, storage each day, lift passes and a snowboard taster. The equipment was high quality (some of it new), the lessons were fantastic (thank you Oggy) and the snowboard taster was excellent as well. They were flexible in changing things around when needed and supportive in explaining to us all the different areas. Geographically they are near to all the main ski slopes - generally 2-10 minutes walk away (nursery slope c. 10 mins). We would not hesitate to use them again in the future and are really happy that we chose them for our first ski experience. Thank you.

  Best value at booking and very easy process from booking to collection. My skis were brand new too! Unwrapped as they were passed to me which was amazing. Definitely able to tell the difference compared to older ones that are not waxed well. It does get busy in there and hot but it was always manageable. Lockers are good value, not trying to rip you off either as they suggested 3 of us could fit in one locker (we could with good maneuvering). The space around lockers is tight but again if you're organised its easy to get in + out quickly enough. Location is also handy, only 5 min walk from the gondola. Would definitely hire from them again

  Don't know why the reviews are so high unless it's because it was half term. Staff are pretty rude and more interested in sitting down and chatting to each other than helping customers. It's absolute bedlam in there, organising ski hire you don't get any help and it's so chaotic. It's about 5-7 min walk to slopes and the shop is also down steps, spend a nit more and go somewhere closer to the shops. If you have your own equipment you can store it at the end of the day for 5 lev at a lovely little place next to the ice angel restaurant bottom of the slopes.
