There tickets for Chapultepec Castle, home to the National Museum of History. This iconic castle, built in 1785, served as an imperial and presidential residence and features 12 rooms that tell the story of Mexico from the Conquest to the Mexican Revolution.
We also explored 22 rooms in the Alcázar area that recreate the spaces of Maximilian and Carlota, as well as President Porfirio Díaz. A fascinating tour that combines history and culture in one place.

What To Expect
Chapultepec Castle
The museum has 12 permanent exhibition rooms that present the historical trajectory of the country, from the Conquest to the Mexican Revolution; and 22 rooms in the area known as Alcázar, in which the rooms of Maximiliano and Carlota and President Porfirio Díaz are recreated, in addition to a room that remembers the assault on Chapultepec Castle.

1.00I bought tickets to the castle for 4:30 pm and the castle closes at that time. I got there about 45 minutes before the time and they refused to validate the tickets after asking me to do a 15 minutes line. Bottom line, I had to buy new tickets and couldn’t use these ones, only to be able to see 30 minutes on a visit that was supposed to be at least 2 hours. If I had known the castle was closing at 4:30, I would have bought tickets for an early time. I hope Viator do the right thing to reimburse me for tickets they didn’t accept.

1.00Totally pointless.. Ticket delivery never took place. Spent 1 hour in the queue despite the so-called 'skip-the-line' tickets. The tickets are bought up by middlemen and delivered online or over the phone, with lots of confusing messaging. Especially frustrating for travellers who may have spotty WiFi access. Don't bother. Just go early and stand in line.

5.00It is very nice to enter directly into the compound without having to line up to pay. You just show your code and go ahead. It is a very nice place where there are many things to see. I plan to return and would only recommend that you go early so that you find fewer people.

1.00I purchased tickets online through this app, but when I arrived at the facility, they refused to accept them. As a result, I had no choice but to pay again in cash at the facility to enter. This was extremely frustrating and felt unfair, since I ended up paying twice for the same service. When I submitted, we found request to TripAdvisor They refuse to refill my account. My advice: do not purchase tickets through third-party websites. It’s much safer to buy directly at the facility to avoid this kind of inconvenience and paying twice.
