What To Expect
Gulong Gorge
Your local friendly guide and the driver will pick up you at your place in Guangzhou (Your downtown hotel or designated location). Follow your guide to hop to air-conditioned vehicle, enjoy a about 2-hour comfortable ride on the way. Upon arrival, start to explore Canyon, enjoy the nice walk up the trail among the beautiful greens and scenery along the way. Take in the absolutely fresh air and natural sounds. Immerse yourself in the amazing view of majestic waterfalls, deep river valleys, beautiful flowers, various mountains. Step and walk along about 1.5 kilo meter long glass bridge and “UFO” shaped circular transparent glass platform among high mountains. Amazed at the excitement and some of the Chinese best breath-taking and wonderful views. You will also have the chance to savor delicious lunch at a local restaurant. After the wonderful excursion you will enjoy a relaxing ride back to Guangzhou with the convenient drop off at your hotel or other downtown area in the city.

5.00After breakfast we met Damon and our driver right on time and heading off to see the magnificent Glass Bridges of Qingxin District Gulong Gorge. It certainly paid us to be up early, with Damon zipping ahead to get our tickets, we beat the queues up the stairs, onto the bus and onto the two impressive glass structures that span the gap in front of the Gulong Gorge waterfall and stretch out as a viewing platform over the valley below. Damon gave a good commentary throughout and was happy to take some photos for us. The climb was worth it as all along the path and stairs upwards were dozens of animatronic dinosaurs who roared and twitched and stooped closer as you walked past. Our descent was remarkable too. We climbed onto a two-person sled and took off speeding up to snake and loop and race our way along the rail for a five-minute ride all the way down. What a fantastic way to start the day. Thank you Damon.

He was very good at explaining the city's history and culture, offering earnest and insightful commentary that enriched our visit. He also excelled at finding great local spots; he brought us to some truly enjoyable restaurants and gave us solid recommendations for shopping and dining throughout the area. A key highlight was his communication—Damon speaks great English, which made the entire day effortless and engaging. Furthermore, his helpfulness extended beyond the tour itself; he continued to offer useful recommendations for places to visit in the days following our trip. 5.00Candice our tour guide has a good command of the English language which made our tour more enjoyable. She is a good communicator, knowledgeable and patient. I was having difficulty climbing the steps to go up to the Skywalk because of a fractured kneecap which happened back in New Zealand but she was more than happy to wait while I rest my legs every so often before starting the next climb. The tour supposedly last only 6 hours but both Candice and the driver accommodated us for the whole day. We will not hesitate to recommend Candice to anyone who wants excellence.
