The Skywire is one of the Worlds longest Flying Fox experiences! - your trip starts from our Base area, onboarding a mini-bus journey up through the Native Forest to the launch platform of the Skywire. Your guides will entertain you on the trip up with facts and stories of the forest, points of interest and surrounding areas. The Skywire ride takes up to 4 people at a time and can reach a speeds of up to 100km/hr. The ride takes you both on a forward facing and backwards journey, with 800 metres of gravity assisted freewheeling in each direction - combined with 700 metres of a scenic journey in each direction, finishing back at the start after nearly 12 minutes of thrilling adventure!

What To Expect
On arrival to Cable Bay Adventure Park you'll want to check in at our booking office at least 10minutes prior to your departure time. If you're early, don't worry - you can grab a coffee or a bite to eat at our onsite, licensed, Base Cafe. We're open daily from 9am with our first departure for the day leaving at 10am and our last trip for the day departing at 3:00pm. Allow 1-1.5 hours round trip from the Base area for your experience. Participants must be 1.2 metres tall, child rates apply for children aged 15years and under, we also offer family rates for 2 Adults & 2 Children The Skywire launch platform is set at 300 metres above the Base cafe. Included in your experience is a commentated, 4km mini-bus journey up through the native forest to the launch platform. The Skywire ride takes up to 4 people at a time, seated side by side, strapped into individual racing car style seats with 5 point harnesses and takes approximately 12 minutes to complete the return journey! The Skywire is weather dependent - we can't operate in heavy rain or high winds. Bookings are highly recommended especially in the busy summer season.

3.00Due to the issues which happened during the ride they offered the partial refund. But it’s not received from the Viator yet. Viator customer care sent an email for the refund notification but the amount is not credited yet ..

5.00From the moment I rang them, to booking, to changing our booking (on the day - sorry) they were friendly and more than helpful. 4 couples went and put our lives in their very capable hands. The drive to Cable Bay was awesome, very pleasant scenery. The facility itself was very cool, with a range of activities available. the ride up to the Skywire was an adventure in itself, and would be enough for some travelers', with beautiful native forest and absolutely spectacular views. But: then came the skywire!!! Wow, just wow! nearly 2 kilometers of adrenaline pumping, heart pounding fun. and then the return trip to where we started.... But wait, there is more! Then there was the drive back down, through the stunning forest, back to the cafe and base camp facility. The whole package was worth every cent we paid. Highly recommend this for anyone of any age.

5.00What a grand adventure! I took my mom and her friend on the closest thing to a zip line either will ever do. It was very secure, the view was wonderful, and the staff were knowledgeable and kind. This is a must-do if you enjoy zip lining, though it's a different sort of experience. Don't miss this!
