Lenka, her family, and her home were beautiful and comfortable. The science of the preparation and social discussion made me feel like a young girl again, cooking with my family. I learned a few new tricks, and some amazing new recipes! I recommend this class to anyone wanting a break from the slopes, and some quality time with my friends and family.

Lenka was an amazing baking teacher as she guided through her grandmother's pastry recipes from the old country. My sisters and I treated my mom to this very special class for her 90th birthday and we couldn't have asked for a more memorable (or more delicious) experience. Lenka brought these recipes to life with her excellent explanations of how to make the delicacies. We had so much fun rolling and filling the dough, and later sipping coffee and laughing as we indulged in the fruits of our labors. It couldn't have been more conveniently located in the heart of Park City, and we left feeling like we'd made a new friend and went home with some fabulous recipes and plenty of surplus baked goods.

This class was SO MUCH FUN! My husband and I were gifted babka and we were hooked ever since! I was trying to learn how to make it, but we found this class during our honeymoon and it was so great! Lenka was so fun to get to know, provided the ingredients, walked us through the recipes step by step, and helped us master our sweet treats! We hope to return for another class with Lenka for our anniversary!

My husband and I went to Lenka's class and we were impressed. She was knowledgeable and friendly. She helped when my dough was not coming together exactly and was patient with my non-baking self. The kolaches and babka were tasty and light. I would highly recommend this if you like to experience other cuisines and do-it-yourself.

Lenka’s welcoming smile put us at ease as we entered her home where a table was meticulously set up as a work space for the four us, with all the supplies needed to create our own pastries. She explained and demonstrated each step of the process and she absolutely was not critical of our mishaps or imperfections. And yes, we had a few. The whole experience of kneading the dough, adding the filling and then forming the pastries was fun. And of course, they were delicious and not too sweet, which I especially liked. I would definitely recommend, whether you live near the area or plan to visit the area.

Lenka?... you are a true gem! Our family had such a great time learning how to make kolaches and babka. She has everything ready, you get to bake your items there AND take some home to bake. Everything was delicious. Check out her website... she offers more than this class, as well.!!!
