What To Expect
Slovenia's capital and largest city is one of Europe's greenest and most liveable capitals; it was the European Commission's Green Capital of Europe in 2016. Car traffic is restricted in the centre, leaving the leafy banks of the emerald-green Ljubljanica River, which flows through the city's heart, free for pedestrians and cyclists. In summer, cafes set up terrace seating along the river; it almost feels like a nightly street party
Lake Bled
Lake Bled is one of the most beautiful spots in Slovenia and is often the literal poster child for Slovenia tourism. In fact, it must also be a contender to be one of the most beautiful places in the whole of Europe! Not only is the lake itself serene and peaceful, but it features not one but two iconic landmarks: a island topped with in the middle of the lake and a fairytale castle on a hill.

5.00Some snow and rain and that just made it more beautiful. A fairly long ride but absolutely worth it. Josip was charming, very informative, and very professional. The castle was fascinating. Amazing views exhibits and displays. I am so glad we did this. Except lunch, opportunities to walk about on our own. Petfect tour for us.

5.00Our drive to Slovenia went very smoothly and we enjoyed the countryside along the way. Our guide/driver Josip was amazing!! He shared a lot of history and facts and was very easy to talk with which made the drive pleasant and not boring. He expertly catered the order of the itinerary to maximize our time in each location. He helped drive us as close to the highlights as possible due to a bit of reduced mobility. He gave us an approximate time to meet but never rushed us. We saw all the highlights as listed: Bled Castle, Lake Bled, Ljubljana old town with the famous Dragon Bridge and beautiful buildings. He suggested for us to take the funicular up to the Ljubljana Castle for the views. Of course we tried the kremšnita (Famous cream cake from Bled). It was a perfect day with the bonus of perfect weather. Thank you Josip for giving us such a memorable experience!! We highly recommend Get in Transfer to anyone considering this tour!!

5.00First of all, the communication between Jopin and I started before we even got to Zagreb. He answered a few questions I had immediately. He communicated with us before he picked us up at our hotel and arrived exactly at 8.30am to pick us up. He was courteous and informative throughout the entire day and extremely knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions about Slovenia and Croatia. He picked us up in a nice comfortable van and had a great recommendation for a restaurant in Lubijiana. I highly recommend this trip and hope you get Jopin has your guide for the day. He is wonderful!

5.00It was a wonderful experience to visit Slovenia from Zagreb. This tour made us to explore it easy and without any stress. Lake Bled was so beautiful, enjoyed Bled cream pie there. Our tour guide josip was great. Everything went smoothly and on time, customized to my preferences. If you want to visit Slovenia from Zagreb in one day, this is the tour you should take!

5.00Excellent day out under the guidance of Josip. We were a little unfortunate as it was foggy in Bled however we had a good visit to the castle and enjoyed a coffee and very nice local cake in a cafe . The visit to Ljubljana was fantastic . Lovely city lots to see and great lunch. Josip did a great job and I would highly recommend this tour .

4.00Bled Lake was incredible. Such a beautiful quiet place, especially the boat ride to and from the island. Ljubljana Old town was beautiful. We were gone from 8:30 and we didn’t get to Ljubljana until 2/3 pm and we hadn’t had time for lunch prior to that time. The tour stayed approximately 8 hours and by the time we came back to Zagreb it ended up being over a 10 hour tour! Our guide was very nice and safe. It would have been nice to learn more about Croatia and Slovenia during the trip. Make sure you verify the trip length before booking.
