Real Alcazar de Sevilla
This will be a much deeper and in a reduced group visit to the Alcazar than the usual. We'll meet at the main monumental area of Sevilla. After the first insight and getting to know each other we'll enter the Alcazar. Once inside I'll give you explanations about the Justice Room and the Palace of Plaster. Then we'll see the House of Trade and the Admiral's Room and you'll discover the importance of Seville and the Alcazar during the discovery and conquest of the Americas. Our next stop will be at the Mudejar Palace, built by Peter I back in the 1300's. The mixure of the different Moorish styles with the Christian atmosphere made that every king wanted to leave his legacy in this magnificent structure. The last structure we'll visit will be the Gothic Palace, the first Christian building of the Alcazar. Then we'll head to the gorgeous gardens to finish our 2 hour guided tour at Maria Padilla Baths. Then you'll have all the time needed to explore the garden at your own pace

We absolutely loved this small group tour! It was one of the highlights of our stay in Seville. Our guide was Marta and she was excellent!! My family of five was the whole group, and Marta really personalized the experience to respond to our questions and share lots of history that we found fascinating. One of our family members has mobility challenges and our guide was very thoughtful in pausing the tour in locations where we could take seated breaks. Marta even gave us some recommendations for food in the local area and made our last day in Seville so lovely and memorable. Would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone! It was worth a little extra to pay for a small (and in our case private) group tour!

Barbara was our Guide on Monday 17 November. We received very explicit instructions before the tour with Barbara's name and how to recognise her at our meeting place. Her knowledge was excellent and she made our visit extremely enjoyable. I would certainly recommend this tour to anyone going to Seville if they have not visited the Palace before. Pat and Doreen

The small group tour of the Alcazar was absolutely fantastic. There was only 7 of us, a perfect size that meant we could easily stay together and it was easy to hear our guide without any technology. Barbara was our amazing guide. Her passion for, and education in, the history and archeology of Seville and Andalusia made her so interesting! She was also kind and thoughtful and made the tour thoroughly enjoyable for all.

Guill was our guide and what a great guide he was - very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and a definite history buff!! We enjoyed his humour and the tour was very interesting particularly as he added a few extra pieces of information! We would definitely recommend him for a tour! We loved the small group - there were about 7 of us!

Carmen was an excellent guide. Very conscious of history, architecture and all aspects of the Alcazar. It was the weathers fault that the gardens were closed. I felt the small group tour was well worth what I paid even though am not a Game of Thrones fan! The experience was special and I wish Carmen all the best in her career. Gratias.

Carlos was a fabulous guide. Despite the gardens being closed due to rain, he ensured we had an interesting and informative tour of the Alcazar and palaces. His knowledge of the history, architecture, and culture of the time was impressive. He was instrumental in making it a memorable experience.

We had an amazing visit and fantastic guide in Guillermo. He is very well versed in the history of Seville and weaves in the Muslim/Christian dynamic in a very balanced way. This is highly recommended

Carlos, who guided us through the palace, has a great knowledge that he brought across very vividly and also funny. He was also humanly great and in the small group you could wonderfully look at everything and get explained. It was a very nice , unforgettable experience. The palace and gardens are fantastic, unique. The art of architecture and decorations are phenomenal... I've never seen anything like it.
