First Stop: Temple of Heaven Park Accompanied by your guide, discover the park’s key landmarks, beginning with the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests—a stunning nail-less wooden structure boasting a grand triple-eaved circular roof, a masterpiece of ancient Chinese architecture where emperors once prayed for abundant crops.
Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest
Amble along the Imperial Walkway (the single-wall bridge) to the Yellow Glazed Tile Pavilion, a solemn ceremonial building where you can join your guide in experiencing its intriguing echo phenomenon. Finish your visit at the Circular Mound Altar, the holy site where emperors hosted solemn winter solstice rituals to pray for heavenly blessings, and stand on the Heavenly Heart Stone to feel the distinctive acoustic amplification, as if communicating with the divine.

5.00Allan was our guide and he was really helpful his English was very good so his explanations were clear and informative. The driver was also very safe and car was comfortable and spacious. The tour to the summer palace was fuss free and ample time to look around. Lunch at the restaurant near the market was also delicious and authentic. Highly recommended!
