Felix was a wonderful tour guide and made the tour and experience a memory of a lifetime! His passion, energy, knowledge and love of nature made the day so exciting and fun! He constantly made sure we were always taken care of, kind and thoughtful! We were lucky the volcano was active and he did everything possible to ensure we saw as much of the eruption to experience the beauty! Mother Nature was active and I’m forever thankful for the wonderful experience!

Wonderful experience! Once in a lifetime tour for us.. volcano erupting, black sand beach and turtles.. Drue was a very entertaining and knowledgeable guide! Loved his wardrobe changes and the easy banter he had with all the guests!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 12+ hour tour guided by Dreu Basaldua. He is fabulously entertaining and well-versed in the knowledge of the volcanoes we visited, the black sand beach, Bayview coffee plantation and the starry skies. We were lucky that we had an absolutely gorgeously sunny day and clear night that were mostly warm. And we got to Kīlauea as it was having minor intrusions of lava from the north and south vents potentially on its way to becoming Episode 40. It was a totally mesmerizing experience. Dreu knew exactly which locations would give us the best of views of the volcano and was willing to take us there during the daytime as well as back at night for both views. In addition to his knowledge, he shows reverence for all that is Hawai’i as well as joy for life and his work. We highly recommend this tour.

This tour was a long day, but 1000% worth it. We were so lucky to see the volcano erupt and have clear conditions. Our tour guide, Felix, was awesome - very knowledgeable and took great care of us. Definitely do this tour!

I can not say enough good things about our day with Felix! He was so knowledgeable and shared amazing tips, and history on our adventure all over the island. He was prepared for the weather with umbrellas and rain coats and winter jackets and blankets for the star gazing at night. The weather didn’t cooperate for the afternoon but he was able to make it an enjoyable day for us and we did get a break in the clouds for stargazing. It was a long day, but an awesome way to see a lot of the island.

As the tour description states, this is a 12 hour tour. The tour was good except that it was raining and very foggy in Volcanoes National Park. Although the park webcams showed the red glow of the lava, our tour did not take us to this location, which was disappointing. There is also a large temperature drop to 40 degrees for stargazing so be sure to pack warm clothes. Seeing the full moon was amazing though.

My wife and I spent my 70th birthday taking Wasabi Tours Twilight Volcano and Stargazing Tour on New Year's Eve. I can't say enough about the great time we had. Our driver and guide was Derek. It was very clear he deeply loves the island and giving tours. He was incredibly personable and informative but most of all humorous. Stops along the way were interesting and well timeTour! My wife loved seeing the turtles at the black sand beach. Meals were great- especially dinner. Viewing the volcano was incredible with stops at several different vantage points. While the volcano was not erupting, we did get to see it glowing after dusk. I'll never forget this tour!
